:) thanks ejs. it really is good for me, and in managing my bouts of feeling very down... it's good to still be productive and creative even if i cant think straight. this is something i will always need reminding of, so actually had my needle and thread tattoed on my arm! it's my 'permanent post-it note' that says to me 'if in doubt, sew'.

Do you have a pic of the tattoo? I'd love to see it if you do! :D

Biker - sorry to hear your not having a good week. I hope you have a nice weekend.

Louise, shelly- of course! Its not something i usually shout about, and its my only one but im happy to show it off if asked :D. It'll have to wait till Monday as I can't upload on this basic connection. I've a pic of it being done too, but I might post that on flicker and just leave a link!:o

Chicky I'd like to post a pic of my cousins wedding sampler but can't for above reasons. And only just got it off my dad today. Can I ask him to email it to you? Just to illustrate my bit for the mag, not that I think it'd be used, it's so small compared to some of the amazing and emotional efforts here.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.. I've got to get a wiggle on with vals 90th card... Think I want to ditch the bluebird and do a little Sampler. Wish me luck... It's the 4th July and I'm away at glastonbury festival for a week before then!

I don't understand why they print such a small run!

(Saying that, !!!!!! said there was about 100 in WH Smiths, so you might be alright. If not let me know, and I'll get him to pick up one for you too x)

I was going to say that I thought this would be a great picture to send, the one with your little boy next to it to show the size would be great but I doubt you'd want to use that one.

I think one of the benefits of an online club is that we can come and visit whenever we feel like it, need to vent, cry or want to show off ;). We don't have to set aside a specific time, which would stop me attending a 'real' club to be honest, and we don't have to wait a week/month to visit again. On an MSE side, we can share news about sales the minute we find out about it! We have members from a wide variety of backgrounds and ages, maybe more so than you would get in a 'real' club. Also because we don't actually 'know' eachother we can talk about things that you maybe wouldn't say in person?

I think this sums us up perfectly :D

Is it only available in WHS? I've looked in Morrisons today and asked at my local newsagent but they don't have it. The lovely people in the newsagent (who buy one copy of 'Sew' magazine every month just for me) are going to find out if they can order it. They're going to ring me tomorrow :D

My newsagent ordered the mag especially for me. at 9.99 I guess its not something newsagents are going to order lots of even though they are going to sell like hot cakes!

    Thanks Flat Eric,

The little bird was in my stash (I bought some closing down shop stock few years back, doing some of them myself and fleabaying the rest when I get around doing it). It is called Chick Berry by Valerie Pfeiffer. Just let me know if you would like to ;) if you don't mind waiting until work calms down a bit so that I have a bit more time.
