Back to stitching - does anyone have the contact details, including a phone number for Across Town Stitching. The scroll down on the web site doesn't seem to be working. I placed an order about a week ago for 50 threads, think I got the right e-mail to send the list of threads to, but haven't heard anything since, so really need to ring them. Thanks.

Glad your order has gone through Judellie. I find it best to use Internet Expolorer to view Across Town Stitching...it doesn't seem to work very well with Firefox...just a thought if you are having problems in the future. :D

Didn't think I'd done very much on my Elegant Lady the past week, but seems I have, for me anyway!

    On 27/04/11:

    and on 07/05/11:

    She's definitely getting there!

Think I will work may way down and leave her head and hat to last (and yet more scatter stitching for the background). Just have to check if the ecru I have left in my box, matches the ecru I have already used on the bench (bottom right)...seems I have two shades of DMC ecru .

Have a great weekend everyone, soggy here, so staying indoors to do stuff...what a shame! :rotfl:

I was so missing doing the border collie last night. Couldn't motivate myself to do back stitch on Bert, didn't want to start the bird as it is full of diagonal, vertical and horisontal half stitches  (plus back and long stitches). So I sorted out the threads for the tapestry kit I have had for ages. After doing few stitches I was so bored that I actually preferred doing the backstitch on Bert.

I think it is going to take me a looooong time to finish that tapestry kit. HERE is picture of it. Especially as I have ordered the wolves and bear cub :D and can't wait to get started with them. Full cross stitches all the way - bliss!!

Glad you got it sorted - I had to email them yesterday about threads and fabric I ordered on the 26th April - ended up buying thread from Hobbycraft. Got an reply to say it had been posted last Saturday and thankfully it arrived this morning.

It's not like them to take so long with orders, I will prob have to start using sewand so if I need things in a hurry now.

Very shocked to read your news bikerchick. hugs hugs hugs and more HUGS. I discovered a lump in my left breast back in 2007 - i was referred to the hospital by the doc and had a biopsy and after waiting for a couple of weeks for the results, I got the all clear - but all the time waiting (when I saw the doc about the lump initially - he told me to go back in 2 weeks but it was still there when I went back so I was immediately referred to the hospital) all the time waiting, all the thoughts that used to run through my head, the sitting in the hospital waiting to be seen etc, telling my family about it, the procedure itself was all hard to get my head round, - and I really feel for you. I wish you all the very best for your wedding day and the very best for your treatment. hugssssssssssssssssssssss
