Hi there.
it's been a bit of an awful evening for me tonight. My Nana who's 87 took ill tonight so had to go racing over there to get the doctor round. She has dementia so any kind of infection knocks her for six and the doc says she has a chest infection. She can't stand up at all and is really dazed. Poor thing.
Just hoping she'll pick up as the drugs kick in bless her. so not much stitching done this evening.

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Nmm. Hope your hubby gets his foot sorted out soon.
Tigerlilley. Hope your Nana feels better soon too.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

I have noticed on ebay that some sellers are selling just individual charts from mags? you could do that? one listing was chart £2.00 - postage 80 pence which is nearly the price of the magazine!
but if you do sell the whole mag then list the contents of the mag in the description or if a notable design is in the mag (all our yesterdays/winnie the pooh/country companions etc) list that - because then if someone is searching for that character then the search should pick up your listing :j
I am planning a quiet day. Hope to finish my easter bunny - will hopefully post a pic later then back to the anniversary card or maybe start the new baby card!0 -

I'm so fed up of the various brown and orange shades in Autumn Reflections that I'm back to finishing off the backstitching on Max in the Adirondacks.
I must be desperate :rotfl:
He is definately coming on, though - the end is in sight.
I am determined to finish backstitching on both Max and on my other large UFO, the Samurai before I start the Michael Powell Tenby kit. Otherwise both my large UFOs will sit in the cupboard forever more.

Positive thought to all those with family who are ill or recovering! xxx
I haven't forgotten about the emails I am supposed to send - this is the first time I've got on the desktop PC in days (it's the one my charts are stored on atm), so going to make a start just now....Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Hi Girls
Just when I get my mojo back to start kiss - I am bursting to do more.
I am making below for a friend to cheer her up. It is from cross stitcher magazine (issue 237). It is the famous broken mirror episode - I am going to make it into a pin cushion.
Also my mum got an invite to a wedding for the whole family (she is refusing to go - got me quite upset about it) so I am going to do this for the bride and groom. It is the same one I did for my former boss and it is from issue 1 from cross stitch collection.
So my kiss pattern will have to wait a wee bit longer.
Hope all is well with everyone, whatever is going on their lives. I am ok, happy to have found my stitching mojo - think hubby is pleased too as he says I looked more relaxed - even tho I have material and threads surrounding me and the house looking like a coup.
Take care all - will update you with pictures as I go.
Kind wishes to all
sweetcarer:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0 -
I've not made the little birdies yet - but I do plan to. Glad you're back into it - enjoy xx
I think I might take my deckchair out into the garden and do some "Old McDonald"
Hmmm, a cup of tea, or some vino?0 -
Hey there, what a beautiful day.
Nana is a lot better today, she can actually stand up on her own again. I think the tablets the doctor gave her have kicked in, thank goodness.
On the stitching front I have got loads done on the border on my sampler today just two sides left to do, yay!
Think I'm going to go and have a little glass of wine in the garden now
