Another weekend is here :j and the weather is lovely :j Saying that, I am not a big fan of the sun and will happily sit inside on a lovely day more than likely with my stitching! i hate crowds / traffic so more than likely I won't be leaving the house this weekend!!

I haven't caught up properly with all your posts since last weekend but noted the last few posts mentioned new babies - our friend's baby was born last night :j:j:j the new baby cross stitch that I was intending to stitch remains UNSTITCHED . oh  The kit I bought to do includes the words - welcome, little one - does anyone know what this would be in welsh ?????

I'm stitching an easter card at the moment for my OH then its back to the anniversary card and then to start the new baby card then the late 21st birthday card !! busy busy me !

Just googled it, he's lovely :) I have a lion cub from Cross Stitcher issue 202 i'd like to do aswell.

Shelly, glad your dad is doing well :)

My OH is having a bit of a medical issue atm, after he passed his driving test his foot was burning and very painful, it then turned blue. He's been checked over for a blood clot but they have ruled it out for now, he has a CT scan on Tuesday to investigate. I really hope we get some answers soon, he can hardly walk, its been blue and extremely painful for over 6 weeks now.

    Hi everyone.

Been stitching the border on my sampler today but it's getting a bit tedious now so have put it down for a bit. Really need to get it finished though as we move house in about 3 weeks and I want it finished for then.

Another quick question. I'm going to sort my cross stitch magazines today and wasn't sure whether to keep them as whole mags or take out the charts I want and get rid of the mags. What would you ladies do?

Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather xxx

It is nice this lovely weather. Certainly helps get the washing dry! :j

Re your question about magazines, I am pondering the same question. I have hundreds of magazines and whenever I want to find something I am after, it is a mammoth task to find it. I also don't know if i have a certain mag. I am still undecided about whether to recycle the charts I don't want as well as the letters pages/articles and simply save the charts I am interested in. If I carry on collecting cross stitch mags the rate I am at the moment, I think I will need to buy another house to store them in :rotfl: I was ruthless with my mags quite a few years back and I regret this now because I am sure there were charts and designs that i would now want to stitch which I think is the reason I can't bring myself to chop up my current mags! also the publishers always helpfully put the chart on one side and the picture of another design on the other side which makes it difficult to store just as you want.

You could scan all pages from new magazines after reading and put them straight onto ebay?

Maybe be extra good and scan a mag from your collection each month too?

    Evening ladies.

Just another quick update for you.....Visited Dad this evening and I am absolutely stunned at how well he looks! He said he feels fine and he really does look it.
Tomorrow they are having him walk around a little to see how he goes. He's been eating and drinking normally and is doing really well.

glad your dad is on the mend xxx
