Hi guys, lovely sunny day here too
I was browsing for some 18ct aida and found some 18ct magic guide aida in HAED size(30x43") for only £15.00 plus £1.15 delivery seemed cheap to me so thought i'd share clickyThey also do a 22ct aida clicky and say in the description "Ideal fabric as an alternative to 25ct for Heaven and Earth Designs"
Also i recall someone asking about magic guide evenweave, guess what i found, clicky They even do a sample pack to try the fabrics out, oh dear i feel a spend coming on :rotfl: I just found this site in google, i am no way connected to it, i haven't bought from it yet, lol.
EDIT: oh dear, i wish i hadn't found that site, lol, its got loads of stuff i want its name is so true :rotfl:
What a lovey wee site - will have to save to favourites - reasonable prices too - anyone used them?Hi ladies.
No stitching done here today. As far as I am aware my Dad is still in surgery as I type this (we haven't had a call yet to say otherwise) I didn't think it wise to try and stitch this afternoon so done some mindless ironing instead.
Mum said this morning that he was going to go into surgery at around 2pmish so we should hear something in maybe 1-2 hours.
When I visited him yesterday an aunt was there too and she made us all laugh by saying to my Dad before she left...... 'give it a few weeks of Shelly looking after you and before you know it you will be cross stitching too Kenny' :rotfl:
It only seems like yesterday he was told he had to have this op, it's come round real quick.
On a kind of positive note the fright it gave me has done some good. I have lost nearly 1 & a half stones! :j
Sorry to waffle on but I know you ladies don't mind
I'll update when I hear anything. Though if it's not until tomorrow....don't panic! lol If I can get the tablet off of hubby for a few mins I'll update tonight but failing that I'll be on pc again tomorrow.
No worries Shelly - glad to hear your dad is getting there. Amazing what they can do in the medical world now.
Now I want to say a big
thank you
to craftygranny - she has helped and inspired me for my next project. so here it is . . . . .
Hope everyone else is ok, where ever they are and what ever they are up to.
Kind wishes

Evening ladies.
Just another quick update for you.....Visited Dad this evening and I am absolutely stunned at how well he looks! He said he feels fine and he really does look it.
Tomorrow they are having him walk around a little to see how he goes. He's been eating and drinking normally and is doing really well.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Glad your Dad is feeling well. I think doctors and nursing staff are marvellous (I know everyone will know an exception to this statement - sorry) they are worth their weight in gold.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Hiya, its been a few days since i was online, life is so hectic at the moment. my grandad had a heart atack in january and because we have moved here to be closer to him we seem to be the new careres, i really dont mind but i cant let it take over life with the kids etc, i know that sounds selfish.
sorry for ranting, I have been doing a long stitch of a dolphin this week, its nearly finnished, so once it is i have some mini kits to do, or i can make a start on tinkerbell. il have a look thru my stash in a little wile and see what i have, if i have all the bits i will start on her.0
