Ailsb - I think you've done quite a bit for two weeks, there are a lot of colour changes in it so that's more time consuming :T:T
Can't wait to see the backstitch going on - it always brings a MP design to life :jCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. :TLouise, that looks so lovely
My colleague has just told us that she is expecting. Any cute ideas about what I can stitch for her? Something gender neutral and nothing too big?"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Here is my latest Czar update, i also did a Mothers Day card only i forgot to take a piccy before i sent it
Czar Update 030411
On a side note, i think i will do Dreams of Atlantis after Czar, now to source the materials as cheaply as possible. I guess acrosstown for the threads (90 in total), and if i'm using 18ct aida the design is 25"x20" approx, so roughly 30"x25" inc extra fabric for framing. I saw a bargain piece of cream 18ct aida on ebay, would it matter if its not white? I read on another cross stitch forum that 18ct is fine for HAED you don't lose any of the detail but the finished design is larger.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
Louise - love the Gorjuss with rabbit, I've not seen these before they are very cute.
NMM - your tigers are coming on great. My mum was stitching a tiger for my dad when she died. I have tried to finish it for him but don't know what happended to the pattern. Your's will look stunning once it's finished. Who is it being stitched for? Sorry to be nosey.
On a sidenote - have cleaned 2 bathrooms and a kitchen so now sitting down with a much deserved cup of tea and my stitching. Have an hour before school finishes and my peace is shattered.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Thanks, Czar is for me, i have lots of empty walls. :rotfl:
What is the missing tiger chart called maybe someone here might be able to help or post a photo and someone might recognise it. Would be lovely to finish it for himCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
nmm - I'm planning to stich my HAED on cream or ivory aida, I have a thing about white showing the dirt even though I religiously wash my hands before I touch my work lol. I'm sure it won't make a difference though as the design will cover the suface of the fabric.
Louise - I knew you'd get that gorjuss done quickly! Lovely design too
Ailsb - Thats loads of progress for 2 weeks, well done you! And well done for being so far ahead, I wish I could be that organised!
I'm going to try and find a design to stitch Mum for her birthday on the 23rd, just something small, maybe to put in a card?. Does any one have any ideas?Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -

Crikey let me think...
Mum likes most flowers really (sorry v. unhelpful!) Roses, sweet peas and peonies seem to come to mind as favourites though.
She also has a thing for Italian/Greek holiday scenes at the moment, if that makes sense!
Eek! My friend had a little girl this morning, 5lb 6oz! That's another project to do! Will have to get looking at birth samplers tooCross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0
