Been out to World museum in Liverpool and kids were truly fantastic - both wanted to 'do' everything and no whining. Dh is doing a curry for tea and then taking them over to see his mum so tonight I am stitching and nowt else.

ERICS mum - they are gorgeous and I must get on with my MP kits - you know if you go to his website there are some free patterns to download.... some are really lovely too.

Thanks for posting about the free downloads, I've joined as a member and will be saving the patterns. I really like Michael Powell designs. I am plodding along with the Wedding sampler church at the moment - will try to post some pictures of progress soon.

There are some lovely completed items on here. I can't believe how quick Louise stitches, any tips? Off to do some stitching now.

    Hugs to all.

    Pah!

I buy stuff that doesn't *need* ironing :rotfl:

(The last time I actually got the iron out was to flatten a piece of washed cross stitch)

Ericsmum. I love the MP scene. I never cease to be amazed how backstitching can totally change and bring to life a design.

Ejs. Love the glasses case, very pretty.

Ohhh that's not good, what's up - are you ok?? :(:(:(

Sorry louise didn't mean to concern anyone. It was nothing really just me having a diva moment or so i've been informed. I was asked to babysit my 2 and 3 year old grandchildren last night and when i said it's awkward to manage with having limited mobility i was told well i'll collect them about 9 and take them to the playgym . At 2pm they were finally collected with no apology nothing just a word about how nice it had been to have a 4 hour asda shop and breakfast there too without the kids . This is the second week in a row . so no more . we had to leave at 2 to take my eldest sons 2 boys home as his car broke down and he doesn't get his new one till tues. Finally got back at 6 had tea tidied all the stuff away they'd had out and just sat down but not for long i have a mountain of ironing i would normally have done this morning.
sorry to moan but it finally got to me today. Normally i don't complain about these things.

Okay... here goes with my first photo posting on here... wish me luck...!

That didn't work. Okay... I used flickr... and I followed the directions and it didn't work. I am afraid I am not terribly patient with technology. I shall try again.

Well, not a photo in the thread, but you can look at it!!
