I've got loads of old mags - post the numbers and I will have a look for you tomorrow x

Further to my earlier post about the Durene Jones Cat designs, they featured on pages 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of Cross Stitch Card Shop, issue 60 (June 2008). They were called "Lovable Cats" in this issue. They also featured in Cross Stitch Card shop issue 68 - October 2009 - a christmas themed mag - on pages 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 - in this mag, they were called Christmas cats / festive felines.

I have both of these magazines - but don't know if they have featured in any other issues of Cross Stitch Card Shop / World of Cross Stitching or Cross Stitch Crazy ? If anyone has spotted these lovely designs in other mags, would you let me know ? THANK YOU:D:D:D I have fallen in love with them and if it wasn't for the anniversary card I am stitching at the moment and the fact that I don't have all the threads, I would be starting my christmas cross stitch cards tomorrow !!

re the cards the cats are mounted in, the company is called Impressive Crafts - apart from Craft Creations, can anyone recommend for getting card apertures? from something I read on the web - it seems Impressive Crafts have gone out of business.

Hello there! This thread has been suggested to me by some bods elsewhere on MSE... so... here I am! I LOVE cross stitch, but I do lots and lots of other crafts as well... currently doing a quick coaster for a friend of mine for her birthday next week. I will post up piccies when I am done with it... I started it at lunch time today, and I hope to get it done tomorrow sometime... though I might not. Depends on how much time I spend "playing" with my new sewing machine!! :D

I came to cross-stitch in 1997 when I had my first nervous breakdown. It was prescribed as occupational therapy while I recovered and I have never looked back really! After mastering cross stitch and tapestry, I have branched out into other embroidery stitches, patchwork, quilting, crochet and other bits and pieces as well!

You guys do some beautiful things... they all look gorgeous!! Now i have introduced myself... I might go back to the start and begin reading!! :D

    WELCOME CRICKETT :j:D:j:D

I am thinking I might go through all of my magazines and make a list of what is in each. I also thought I could scan them in... is that OCD?

It would be useful though wouldn't it, has anyone else done it so we could combine details?

Correct me if I am wrong other posters but I am sure that at least one of the mags would post an index once a year ? might be imagining that though ! and couldn't tell you what issue !

I've just had a quick read through, been so busy lately I'm not posting or stitching much.

shelly - finished design looks great. Typical man not being interested and then saying it should have been done differently!

    crickett - hello!

I'm moving tomorrow, the council agreed to let us exchange and said they'll sort the electrics after the move :). It means I'm losing internet access for about 3 weeks, I've no idea how I'll cope! I will sort out that pic of my finished cut thru rocket once I get back, and hopefully I'll have got properly into a new project by then!

Happy stitching ladies, and no doubt I will have an absolute mountain of posts to catch up on once I get back online :D

I started....had lots of nice little computer picture folders, all headed and individual folders for the designs within them, but there was too many charts and I just couldn't find enough time to keep doing it :o

Flat Eric, i found this site that lets you find the charts in each magazine, i don't know how up to date it is, but it had a few Durene Jones cats :)http://www.cyberstitchers.com/Publications/index.asp then type Durene Jones in the search box.

I am currently going through my mags, I am about half way through the mags that I hadn't
hacked-to-bits-and-decided-that-storing-them-chart-by-chart-in-plastic-folders-inside-a-binder-so-I-have-no-idea-which-mag-or-issue-number-they-belong-to, once they are done, I will put the info up on my website, then if anyone needs ;) of a certain chart, I can scan, just those ones rather than scanning them all lol

As for the already mentioned hacked up magazine, I don't know how I am going to sort all them out lol
