Thank you so much for the welcome! The coaster I was doing has now been finished; all I have to do is take a piccie of it for you to see. I went a bit wrong on it, but I don't think you can really tell...! :D

Just a quick post to let you all know that I am still here lurking away.

Haven't done any stitching this week as hubby finally pulled his finger out and got stuck in with the decorating...he managed to get the entire flat repainted and decluttered, apart from baby's room which still has half a wall to replaster, hopefully the builders will get that done this week.

Went for a scan last week and they brought our date forward to the 14th April, so bump could appear at any minute...can't wait as I am bored now...lol

Letting hubby have a quiet day today so while he is sleeping and playing PS3 I am going to stitch on my Snoopy stocking...I will get pics up later.

Chicky can you pm me your postal addy for the Monopoly board, found it while I was decluttering...lol
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

These featured in Cross Stitch Card shop (issue 68 for the xmas themed and issue 60 for the cats featured above. If you have seen these cats in any other Origin mags - please would you let me know, I would be very grateful:D

These cats are sooooo cute pity they aren't black like my wee Sam.

for some reason i don't find this cross-stitch too bad

but (as much as it reminds me of DS who chooses any opportunity to inspect his bits) I find something very wrong with this one:

These made me laugh and if you have ;) I would be grateful think they would look fun in my bathroom or does that make me sound warrped thinking that. The cats getting married sound cute too.

Hope all is well where ever you are. I have just been on craft circle and downloaded the latest letter for the circus font and emailed them off to the couple who asked for a ;).

I need to take a week off work to sort through my magazines. I keep meaning to make a chart of what is in each magazine - I remember a few years ago the magazines did produce a index of charts but in my old age I can't remember what ones.

WOrk took a weird turn this week. I got a small payrise before the transfer but the new bosses are saying it is more than what they would pay for someone in my position so it might put my main transfer in jepordy. I hope not - I really want to move to the new place and away for hoddit and doddit.

Turned out a nice day - washed my uniform so will hang it out in a bit.

    Kind wishes to all

With my spreadsheet of what was in each magazine, I was quite brutal and only put the ones in that I thought I might actually do. I did them bit by bit, flicked through each mag and stuck a post-it on the front of which charts I wanted (probably up to 5 in each mag) and then, when I'd done all of them, put them onto my spreadsheet. It seemed easier that way.

    Hi ladies

I haven't stopped by for a while but really do intend on getting back into the stitching.
I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a kit Disneys winnie the pooh strolling along dttp001, I got it years ago and have now opened it to find there is no chart in the pack, does anyone have this chart that I can buy a copy of, or can anyone point me in the direction of getting the chart only?

    Thank you :D

Is it a Designer Stitches or Anchor one? either way they may be able to provide a chart (I don't think I have this one)

ebay will probably be your best bet. I don't think I have this kit - is it where Pooh and characters are walking along ? and owl is in it too ?? If it was a designer stitches kit then I don't think designer stitches do the kits anymore? I don't know if this means they have gone out of business or just got bored ? I remember when Debbie Minton (spelling) was on QVC !!!! You could also try sewandso - I think they have bought old stock from other retailers because old pooh kits I have wanted I have got on there :j:j (and when the kit has come - you can see the argos code sticker :D )

In stitching news - thank you everyone for your replies re cats. I am one happy bunny.

I haven't managed stitching today :( not sure how ?! had a quiet day to myself but was up stupidly early and have had a painful shoulder all day so not felt like doing much.

I'm annoyed because I bought some mp3s of songs earlier from amazon but they haven't downloaded properly and are "corrupted" for want of a better word ? they don't play properly / cut off half way through / or interupt the lovely peaceful music I am listening to with white noise :eek: have e-mailed complaining and hopefully will get a refund.

Will do some stitching tomorrow - not sure what yet ! might start on one of my lovable cats although I must start my friend's birthday kit !!
