I haven't managed any cross stitch in a couple of weeks. It has been really hectic. Hoping for a quiet day on Sunday though and can sit down and finish the back stitch on my newton bear. hope to catch up properly on here as well.

Have just been on sew and $o - and spotted this. Its a good job its out of stock otherwise I might be tempted to order it !!!

marru - well you said you want talking out of it, so here goes.... i've zoomed in and in and cant make out any stitches so it looks like the original a photo to me, so i'd wonder how it would look actually stitched? if it is just the photo shown, then maybe you could find a friendly person here to convert a photo you already have for free? (that was my best go, but at that price, whose to argue really!)

Squishy - they're both lovely! thanks for the reminder i was thinking of stitching my sort of cousin something (or sewing her something, cant decide) for her wedding at the end of may... i'd better make up my mind!

I saw that too & quite fancy one. I'm sure if I could sew, it would be easy enough to make...but I can barely sew a button on! I doubt it would sit well on our leather sofa though. Would probably slip off the arm all the time.

Thank you, good point. It seems thou that the reviews for this seller have been very good. Anyway, I have decided to wait until I have finished the doggie.

totally agree with spiral. its blatently someone making a quick ££, they have gt a pic (prob a copywright) and will use a pattern designer that you could do for free- how can you tell:

Colours -89 (CAN BE ALTERED, JUST ASK)

    150 x 132 stitches (27.21 X 23.95cms ) CAN BE ALTERED, JUST ASK
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

She's coming on but I'm still a bit panicky about getting her finished for the end of the month. And if anyone knows of a good framer in the Nottingham area who doesn't cost the earth, I'd be very grateful.

    Coming on well :T

I've used Opus Frames in Beeston for a couple of pieces. The last thing I had framed was in October 09. I've just checked my bank statements and I paid £31.95 (not as cheap as *Louise* got hers done) and it looks about 10x8. Don't really know whether it's a good price or not - I don't frame a lot mainly due to the cost.

I'll post a picture later in the week as it's on my son's wall at the mo.

  • Hi all can I re-join you? I met some of you on the old UFO thread in 2009 and since then all but stopped stitching. Long story short I got into another craft quite heavily but had to give that up when I moved house in December. Anyways, my hands started twitching and I picked up my stitching again :D For those of you who remember I love Newton's law designs and I was planning to do this Alice design from heaven and earth designs. I did manage to finished the Newtons law design I was doing within that thread but I never gave it to my Mum for Christmas.

So I am now not working on anything. I want to do the Alice design but I want to get back stitching before doing something so grand and also I need some black adia. So I am starting with a few free designs and will go form there. Everyone is doing so well, and as always you chosse stunning kits to stitch, they are all amazing. I musst say though I do love the stocking designs, shame I have noone I couuld gift them too.

    Have a great week/end all :D
