Hey everyone been lurking instead of posting but just had to post this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pako-Counted-Cross-Stitch-Kit-Historical-Dress-/280384614740?pt=UK_Crafts_CrossStitch_RL&hash=item414839b154

I thought it was lovely - until I noticed the price!!!!!:eek:

Probably as well I've got a HUGE to-do list!

Have completed my January challenge in terms of the BNSLP - but I think I underestimated how GIGANTIC the one page of the chart actually is! In my defence I have been decorating and decluttering my living room and bedroom and ebaying like a maniac!

I also wanted to say I got a cd through from ebay today with charlies ark and disney designs so if anyone wanted a ;);) - they're in pdf and all on the one document but I'm assuming it would email OK? One of the Disney ones is 578 pages!!! (some are in different languages so Googletranslate here I come lol) xx

ooh ps does anyone have any ideas a sto what to stitch for my bestest mate who's doing a fashion course? I've got until August 8th to decide, stitch and frame! Any advice greatly appreciated! I had thought about this - http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Haute-Couture-Sampler__DMC-BK771.aspx but was a tad unsure ?

Have a great Saturday everyone, I've just been off for two weeks and actually had a nightmare last night about going back to work :( , even tho I actually love my job and the peeps! Cat xxx
    NSD November 1/20 :money:
Crap 1, Simple Be, Next, VANQUIS, TESCO, VERY, EMPIRE, ADDITIONS, HALIFAX C/C, HALIFAX LOAN, STUDENT LOAN
Make £10 a day in November £34.57/£450

Found these today. They're bookmarks, but quite detailed & the motifs could be rearranged to make a card...

thanks for looking for me :) I can't see a link in your post anywhere though? :o

    Happy birthday wishes pm2326 :)

hope everyone is fine today - bit grey and damp here, but we need to go out so I'm hoping the rain stays off!

Went to stitch and !!!!! last night and have to say marking the squares does seem to have made me stitch faster - yay!

Sun is shining (first time this year I think) so am torn between housework, schoolwork, shopping for birthday pressies and stitching. Am going to do a day of half hours ie half hour of each with a big shopping bit sandwiched in the middle, that way everyone's a winner.

Camera lead is still awol so might unearth it when tidying hopefully:o
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000
    Savings for big things £9017
  • Morning everyone. :D
Well I've got two days to myself this weekend, so I'll see about getting some stitching hours under my belt before update pictures on Monday. ;)

BT Home Hub has decided to throw a hissy fit, so I come to via my Ethernet cable (luckily it reaches!) so have reported that this morning to BT after spending hours tying to navigate their online help *Rolls Eyes*

    Have a good weekend everyone!

Sorry-should've been clearer. They were in a magazine I've got. Happy to scan them in & email them to you if you think they'll be suitable.

We always had trouble with our BT Home Hub, the stupid thing was forever going wrong. And the technical advisors who would call to sort the problems always knew less than my hubby anyway!

I've had a quiet day so far, but instead of stitching I'm trawling the internet for a house swap. I'm really keen to move, but with all the time wasters I've come across I'm starting to doubt I'll ever find a successful exchange.

Oh, and this means more to 23rdspiral than anyone else, but hubby's taking me shopping soon to Knit or Sew, and if I don't see anything that takes my fancy we'll stop by Bee Inspired on the way home :D

Maybe I've been lucky with mine then - I've had it about 3 years and it always works (occasionally with the assistance of the reset button ;))

That's coming along nicely, Sammr85! Those designs are such fun to stitch, aren't they?

Done a tiny bit of my cut thru but then the phone rang & now it's lunch time. Hopefully after I can do some more. :)
