my bt home hub was forever going wrong too!!
loving that dictionary of homes. that series is definatly on my to-do-list.
no stitching for me today as DS is in hyperactive mode. he didn't get up till 9.30 (what a lovely lie in i had) so no nap for him this afternoon, also he appears to have eaten around 20 plain biscuits so far today and half a pk of asda own brand ritz crackers so he's happy. the house also looks like a bomb site.
Have spent the day listing books on ebay (i don't for 1 minute think most of them will sell but may as well see if i can get anything before freegling em). There are some cross stitch ones I reckon postage would be about £3 (but i am farr to lazy to weigh things and work it out today).
still got about 10 teaching ones to list individually but eurghhh that takes energy!!loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
I also wanted to say I got a cd through from ebay today with charlies ark and disney designs so if anyone wanted a
;) - they're in pdf and all on the one document but I'm assuming it would email OK? One of the Disney ones is 578 pages!!! (some are in different languages so Googletranslate here I come lol) xx
o0o yes please!

Today I remembered why I stopped buying cross stitch magazines, I have spent most of the morning going "ooooo I love that design" so have now added 5 more designs on to my wish list... http://www.crossstitchers.co.uk/product.php?xProd=1467
There are 5 designs in the elegant ladies collection so will be keeping an eye out for them.0 -
Hello Girls,
Hope you are all well, where ever you are. I feel sore - had to get a new exhust for my car today £225 -!!!!!! - hit a pothole and whack part of it came off and damaged the other bits. My da then nagged me saying I should have money just in case things happen - I have enough to pay it but only can get small amount of shopping this week - hubby gets paid Friday.I'm due for a mid-life crisis in May when I hit 40.
I hit 40 in July - would like to do something special - when my first husband was alive he said he would take me to Russia but I feel now if I get a nice holiday of my choosing would be nice - hubby is always keen to go to Amsterdam - I would like somewhere I haven't been to.It's my brother's funeral on Wednesday, so I am just keeping busy until Tuesday, when I will be going up to Leeds.
Will be thinking of you.does anyone have the emily peacock circus letters from cross stitcher mag that have been released so far?
Send me you email addy and I can- I have all the letters so far, as each month they have a new one coming out. Its now up to letter G.
Better work out what is necessary in shopping and get going out again. Feel so exhusted tho.
Kind wishes to all

i'm pondering on stitching a card/sampler/commemorative thing for my cousin's wedding in a few months. i havent seen her in years, but have spent time with her sister who says contempoary yet vintage, butterflies, and purple... Eek! any ideas?!?
i was too tired to stitch last night, fell asleep on the sofa! but my today till now has been : much needed lie-in; beautiful present came by special delivery; house buying progressed a stage; handmade beef&mushroom pie prepared & waiting to be cooked, and kitchen cleaned whilst booging on down to Madonna. movie and a pint tonight and hopefully some stitching, all well deserved.

Evening all
Not done much stitching - dropped the wedding sampler off at the framer today, going to cost £22 (14x12inside aperture) so not too bad.
Hubby and I are going out to my brothers stag do tonight. Wasn't the original plan but his finacee didn't invite any women from his side of the family to her hen do tonight so he has invited us to his night. (With 3 sisters, he knows which side his bread is buttered pml) Not going to be a late one though, I'm knackered as it is.
Stitching is out the window for most of the week by the looks of it.:( Got OH's parents for dinner tomorrow night and need to spend most of the week prepping the paperwork for a course I'm running next Saturday. Ah well, will look forward to next Sunday :jCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Me too - not sure if I am looking forward to it or not!!!
I'm slowly making progress with the birth sampler but it won't be finished by the end of January. Maybe by the end of next month as I should have some time in half term to work on it.
soulie - I don't know you but I lost my brother unexpectedly 6 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope all goes well on Wednesday x"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

A question for all of you. What do you do with the left-over threads when you've finished a kit ?
Mum's given me loads of hers and I've got my own, all useable lengths and can't bring myself to throw them out. Just sorted them by colour into ziplock bags but not sure if I could store them better ? (PS I wrap my DMC's around those plastic bobbins but they're not suitable for odds and ends without numbers).
So suggestions please !
