i cooked turkey in the SC last night, so didnt have to do much for dinner so sat and got on with the Cupcake
but doh! i forgot i only sorted that out for easy stitching (while away/on train next week). so should have been doing the Bowl of Lemons... oops. either way i now have a UFO!!!
Having trouble with 26
The way the cards are done, they are divided according to themes, then numbered within each section. So Samplers 26 = Kitchen table, Floral 26 = Ivy leaf etc
Does it have a section name labelled on the pack at all?
gosh you lot have been nattering tonight! i just popped on to check an amazon price and thought i'd answer, anyway, um. i see. um, no section name, but the packet is red. i cant find a pic online. it's called From The Heart and is a blue card with blue gingham inscert onto which is put a piece of aida with a red and white gingham style heart kinda long-ish not plump IYSWIM with a white button stitched in the middle of it.
um, looking at it that closely has made me realise that if i were to get a magnifying glass from parents then i could figure it out as i can guess what goes under the button from the rest of the pattern! the other 2 are either way too small/detailed or photographed at an angle so that wouldnt be an option... so maybe dont worry about the heart. But i'm not going to delete all that. so there!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -

From that...I found it!:rotfl:
It was number 29 :jin the patterns section
Tbh I don't think you will need it, by the time you have the majority of the heart done, it's every second square in the middle so you should follow that easily, even without the magnifying glassCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Magscat - I travelled on the Trans-Siberian (Moscow - Vladivostock) back in May 1993 when I was a student. I would hope that the trains will have improved since then, even though we went by first class sleeper. In case they haven't, although the pictures that I've just looked at on the Net look OK, take plenty of loo roll and snacks. And whatever you do, have a great time!
All the best,
Ro
Ahhh....I'm too old to rough it now
I'm going with a organised trip, on a very posh charter train. Loo roll will be the least of my worries :rotfl:
Stil unspeakably excited....sorry0 -
Tenby Harbour? In Wales? Do you have a link to that one? I might have to put it on my wishlist. I went to Tenby with OH in 2006, which was a special year as I got rid of my breast cancerIt was also the year I got my breast cancer, got MRSA, lost my b00bs and gained new ones, but let's not talk about that
We can do better than that! I've got that kit too, still unopened in the packet - it's my next big project.
I always work from a copy of the pattern, just in case it gets a bit creased and so on. So I'm sure no-one'd notice if an extrafell in...send me your email address and I'll be able to sort it on Monday next week.
Oh - and who was asking about photos of the trip? If you go to the link on my profile page you'll find my (slightly odd and ecletic) Flickr page. It's full of fishing photos at the moment, but in a few months' time it'l be full to overflowing with Trans-Siberian ones! :j0 -

Tenby how many childhood holidays were spent there, I checked out the picture of the kit and its beautiful. My Aunt used to live close to Tenby so we would visit her down there and she would say we were too skinny and make us doorstep ham sandwiches with the ham as thick as the bread and tinned fruit salad (not in the same sandwiches) then we would walk down to Pendine beach via the steps in the cliff.0 -

LOL, that was handy
My hubby, bless him, genuinely thinks I'm a year younger than I am - he filled out a holiday booking form as me being 30, I quietly sneaked on behind him and changed it :rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
