    Hiya,

Just a quick hello as I am supposed to be at work but my mouse just happened to click on here.....oops!

I have managed to get quite a lot of my backstitch done on the wedding sampler, I have about an hour or 2 to finish it I think and then a few French knots. If I am lucky I may even get to go and get a Frame for it. The wedding is on Saturday though so probably wishful thinking as spending Friday doing my bridesmaid duties and taking things to the reception ready for them to decorate it.

Hi just a quick question still looking for supplies for my heaven and earth design does aida come in a count of 22 or is that evenweave? I really need to find the smallest aida i can work on but don't fancy 1 over 1 on evenweave :o at 22 count the design will be 19x 28" really don't want to get much bigger than that if I can help it.

    Thanks

2011 Goals declutter the house  decluttered 42 items :j
  • I THINK the biggest aida is 18 - had a quick google, and couldn't find bigger...
  • kezbabybabe and Louise - great progress.

I have decided to take the plunge and try and design some sort of family tree piece for my parents ruby anniversary. This will be a first for me  so I am prepared for disaster. I'm going to try and get started as a challenge for myself next month, then if it's a total mess I've still got time to buy a kit instead :D

Think as a mini Feb challenge (and to get me to stop fidgeting thinking about smoking ) I think I'm going to cross stitch OH a Valentines card :D

Trying to look for card kits is a pain.. they all seem very old fashioned. Do any of you lovely ladies and gents have any nice Valentines charts for cards??

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi ladies.

I was looking forward to an afternoon of stitching but Dad phoned this morning saying his heart doctor had had a cancellation and could I take him to the hospital. Not long been back and the news is they want him to have some kind of scan on his heart then he will have a bypass! No stent, straight to a bypass.
Usually I'm not a worrier until I have something to worry about but this news is quite scary!

Ooooh I haven't posted an update of my sampler yet because I have only done some of the plain border so nothing much to see :D
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
