Fiver in my tub
I'm going to use my money to buy a new dishwasher in the sales next year - what are people hoping to do with theirs ?
I didnt have an aim when I started but have got rid of my car because of upcoming bills and am going to share DDs & DHs for the rest of the year. Hope to replace it around next April so mine will be going into the car fund now0 -

Thats me over the £200 mark.
I think I might use mine to get a tatoo removed. Only cost £25 to get put on. Will probably cost about £500 to removeBut Oh well, it was fun for a while.

Hi all I would like to join this challenge but will start on 1st June at £1 per day. This will mean that by 31st December I will have £214 in my pot. I will be doing it online rather than actual cash as I think it will be less tempting to spend.
If I have not paid back my debt by then, I will use it to make a one off payment towards one of them, if I have paid it off, which I will be trying to, I will use the money for something else, maybe towards a trip I am planning for next year:)November NSD's - 70 -
Hi guys,
Could I please join as well? I know I'm late, but I have a cunning plan!
I plan to start on 31 May.
From 31 May to 31 December this year, there are 215 days.
I pledge £1 for each of these days.
However, this also means I have potentially missed out on 150 days worth of saving
So I pledge that I will make up this £150 by putting in extra money, whether it's an odd £5, or just £2 a day for 150 of the 215 days left...I will do this!!!
Please let me join

i've been quietly plodding on saving my £1 a day!
When i started i used a empty twiglet tube i taped up, all my boys and hubby were tickled pink to see me putting in a pound or two!
Fast forward to now...49p from the charity shop i got a giant orange, plastic jelly baby money box (think it may of had sweeties in it when it was new?)
Now, everyone wants to get their mits on the contents of 'Bertie'!!!
Don't know what we will spend it on, but we spend lots of tea-times discussing it :rotfl:0 -

I have one of these but I had him from new! He was part of a Christmas present about 10 years ago from my sister and indeed had orange jelly babies inside him!
He fell out my window a few years ago and one of our alsations, Beau, got him, so he has a bit of a chewed head, but he's still going strong :beer:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. wow, he doesn't look 10 years old!
Don't think Bertie has to worry about having his ear chewed in our house, it's his insides everyone wants:rotfl:0
