ipod touch will not connect to our Zoom X6 router

Hi , yes I've had a breakthrough today.

First, as a test , I disabled all security from my Zoom X6 router.

Amazingly the Ipod connected almost immediately.

Then I changed security to WPA and still maintained a connection to Ipod.

Obviously the Ipod isn't built to handle WEP security ( I think it's quite an old protocol anyway)

Hope this helps anyone out there with the same problem.:T:T:T

Thanks again to everyone for their help and replies.

We have now changed the settings on the router to WPA. The ipod connects, but then keeps disconnected - argh! The laptop stays connected.

Tried first of all connecting ipod with no security, which worked fine. Then changed it to WPA, but now ipod says connected, then disconnects.

Tried turning ipod off and on.

Finallly got it sorted.

Spoke online to someone at zoom.

Ended up having to reset the router, by the pin button on the back and setting it to WPA.

The ipod,Wii and DS connected straight away, without having to go into Advance Settings for the Wii and DS as I had to previously.
