Happy Christmas everyone. My husband has just got called into work so I thought I would come on the computer and have a lot at what is going on.
Just been a bit naughty and did a bit of internet shopping - have had my eye on a lovely scarf in M & S for a month or so (£19 but today reduced to £5:j). Am just going to have some breakfast, get washed and dressed and then head off to my mum and dad's for the day.

Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Merry Christmas everyone!
Just thought I'd share this....
Our 2 girls are with us for the day and it has been a little family tradition for Santa to always leave them something on their beds from when they were very small. Gradually xmas stockings became pillow cases as the stockings didn't have sufficient capacity. Santa's mince pie and glass of milk became a pie and a whisky as the years passed and his taste "matured." With the girls at 26 and 30, we felt maybe Santa wouldn't be able to follow the tradition this year, but he turned the tables. Little stockings bearing gifts for Mum and Dad greeted us this morning, so I'm about to sample a large bar of chocolate!

Merry Christmas All!! :xmastree:
Hope you have all been good and Santa has visited you all
I had a lovely evening in the pub last night, caught up with people you only see at Xmas. Two of my friends had gotten engaged that morning (to each other!) so we were celebrating that too!I stayed way later than planned so didn't get home til after midnight, but I was driving so no hangover today. I did have a festive glass of Baileys before bed though.
It's a beautiful morning here, think a walk on the beach will be on the cards at some point today.
I feel a bit lost at moment as there is nothing to do yet, it's too early, and everything is prepped!! My family are coming round at 1pm so I'll start cooking stuff from midday probably.
I'm having crumpets with lashing of butter and a glass of Bucks Fizz for breakfast.
Hope you all have a lovely Christmas
