I fear the worst - maybe we should contact the police?
  • thanks for your kindness

there is no point in us telling people off for not believing how our christmas is panning out. some will believe, some will not, a bit like santa. We have a real life zen garden out the front and whilst people think it is mumbo jumbo, we like it and believe in it as peaceul people. Although, when the snow thaws the zen garden will be more like poosticks when their canine has finished.

anyway, it was a good night in all. They demolished all of my chauteauneuf and drilled a hole in my tawny port and washed that down with most of our nibbles. But they were good company, we even played scrabble as her snowy knickers were drying on our lounge rdiator.

neverthe less, this morning was a bit disappointing. I heard them up and about at 8am and could smell bacon. Lovely i thought. At 9am i heard nothing and then I heard them coming up the stairs. The door opened, the dog flew into the bedroom, onto the bed with dirty snowy paws and proceeded to to tug the duvet down revealing my wifes breast! Which was highly embarrasing for all.

Anyway, what thye ended up bringing us for breakfast was OUR wheetabix (which we havent touched since we last was on a diet) with the milk that past its date yesterday. No coffee. Turned out they cooked their own bacon (dishes in the dishwasher) and fed us our own food.

They have gone out now to find a garage to fix the motorhome. The dog is roaming the garden and my wife iswashing the sheets. Happy Christmas

I fear their understanding of "shared ownership" is not the same as others.

  • I can't understand why people are doubting this is the truth. If he'd posted on the Families board and this couple had been a relative, no-one would have doubted them for a minute. It does seem a little far fetched to some and I think it's because you've been so generous and trusting towards the couple. I admire your stance, but I admit they wouldn't have been anywhere near the drive if it'd had been me. Good luck with the exchange and I hope it all works out for you x

  • Nothing to update really.

They are still out finding the garage to fix their motorhome.

We let their dog in from the garden as it has been a while and it is drawing dark. Bless him, the puppy is such a playful thing, he doesnt have any toys so we played tug of war with the now, gussetless knickers. Well we got to laugh at this situation.

I cant see them finding a hotel as well today as they promised as they have to come and collect the puppy.

OK we are a little worried - in all seriousness

It is now quater past 6, they left this am to go to find a garage and to sort out a hotel but left the dog here. I havent fed the dog all day, thinking they would be home, we havent any dog food, nor did they leave a note about feeding the dog, so I am not sure what to do

The dog is chewing up anything I suspect in hunger, yet we havent got anything to give him apart from a few chocolate hob nobs. We havent any leftovers as our guests hoovered them up yesterday evening.

We had to let the dog out in our own back yard where it has further defacated and pi55ed up the father-in-laws memorial tree. Its now dark so I cant find the beasts to pick up, so that will be a job for the morning. His bottom is a little runny so he is now confined to the utility room and is scratching the door and gnawing on our neices sindy doll.

Anyway, what can I feed the puppy, do they need to have special food or can I just pick up a can of Felix?

p.s if i can have an answer by 6.45 as i have to leave and get back so as not to miss tonights Pobol Y Cwm.

I would not miss Pobol Y Cwm for anything.
