Samba - sorry to hear about your broken laptop. Isn't it always the way? You put it out of the way of the kids and you break it yourself! My latest thing is putting things safe - so safe, I can never find them again. Grrr. LOL. :D

Me too Elysia, thats why I have 2 official birth certificates lol.

Finally got £40 off OP, took nearly 2 weeks to get the last 15p & had to barge my way through a survey that kept saying it was expired! Then straight after there were 5 surveys available on my account & I've had £2.25 in 2 days. Hmmmmmmm slight whiff of tuna about there. Mind you it paid out so all good.

People sound a bit pooped at the mo, maybe we should have a secret snifter list as well as the Santa to pick us all up - like a virtual ladies night out (& our chap, sorry cant remember your log-in)!. Mine would be vodka, lime & lemonade. Being taken out tonight, so I'll dedicate a round to all you thrifty's.

Cheers to all of us, we're doing good. Here's to Xmas .

That sounds a brilliant idea Samba. I'll have what your having. :)

Glad you got to redeem on OP. I had exactly the same problem, and that's what I did too in the end. I'm back up to £3 in a week, and that's me forgetting to check again. NV is the same - I had to put my referal on the board, and begged someone to join to get the last £1. LOL.
I'm just waiting for payout now - How long does it take? Has anyone redeemed on there recently? I think Michelle was the last, but I'm not sure now.

I've just checked T and my Am voucher has been processed so it might be worth checking if you redeemed about 6 weeks ago on T.

I'm still waiting for money to go into paypal and £25 Am off DooU - these payments are slow lately. :(

  • I redeemed a NVL on the 4th of November I think it was. not heard anything off them yet.

Had a £5 am voucher today. Trying to avoid looking at the deals on there. I can get too tempted.
  • Hi everyone,

Thanks Elysia, was hopeful for a better night but it didn't happen unfortunately, managed 4 hours in a row and then almost 2 hours, so doesn't sound too bad but I have always been a 10 hour a night girl so bit of a shock to the system. Hubby has awfully long days at the mo so trying to make sure he gets sleep but he can take his turn at the weekend.

Hope you all have a succesful day, I am almost at redeem on op, but it seems to have really slowed, hopefully will get there soon as £40 will be a nice boost to my paypal account.

Finished the stocking for Tabi last night, but not sure how to post a picture, any tips appreciated please.
  • afternoon

djstar nice to see you back hun , how old are your children? i bet they won't even notice you know , i think its us parents that have the high expectations of what christmas should bring , kid are happy with a few pressies and being able to eat chocolate from breakfast !

mum2one lol she sounds like a star :D my 9 year old doesn't believe, but pretends for his sister whos 4 ,
he said to me this week, why do parents lie to their children about father christmas, easter bunny and the tooth fairy
i said because its nice to have a bit of magic when you are a child

I too am near redeem on op well 37.15 just been on and there are 4 15p ones for anyone interested. Would love to do it before the end of the year but from the sounds of things I will struggle. We'll see it goes.

Gutted today as the George Michael concert we were going to on sat has been cancelled due to him having pnuemonia. Managed to cancel hotel with no fee to pay so that's good. Going to go out for a meal and maybe to the cinema locally instead and then christmas shopping sunday. Mum and dad are still having the twins so we get some time on our own, the first full night and day since they were born. Will be nice but not what I wanted to be doing this weekend. Very disappointed.
  • aww stepmum what a shame :(

stepmum sorry to hear about your week end. enjoy your child free time

boatgirl sorry to hear you didn't get much sleep hope you have managed to nap today

I had an email from ip*o* to say they sent me an incorrect code and will send another

I have also had £50.50 paid on TCB

I had a look at my present stash this morning - I have enough boots toiletries and gift sets to last for years:eek: if I'd known I wouldn't have bought body shop stuff for my SIL's birthday

rufus your sofa looks great - you are so clever and talented

elysia I started the advent box a couple of years ago and every year I say "you don't really want an advent box this year do you?" and every year they say "yes we do". it includes quite a few home made things like coaster calendar, Christmas countdown, pot of gold, rudolph noses, snowballs so try to keep it as cheap as possible!

Hello Ladies, thought I would pop in and say hello. I said hello on the other thread. I do hope you are all well :) and making lots of cash. I didnt have much to buy for my family this year after my fab trip to Boots in Januray. I have got some good deals and posted on the Grabbit board, going on Monday to finish it all off, but found online cheaper than the shops this year.

Been missing in action. Have today decided to open a virtual shop on Folksy. Boy what an effort! Its taken me ages to upload pictures etc so it will take a while for me to stock the shop! Oh well nothing ventured nothing gained.
I stopped doing all my surveys etc due to my typing causing me stress to my arm, and still havent re started. Looks like it may be 2012 before I am up to scratch and claiming anything now. But that is life.
I am making a few bits as my presents, and for decorations around the home though. That will save me money. I have told myself that I must not buy anything else fabric wise until I start to sell off all the stuff I have!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
