Where's everyone gone today?
Chel - I love the cat. I need one of those for our front door. The wind whistles through something terrible. Did you make it up as you went along or did you google some instructions? I'll have to have a go - I'm not a cat person, but that is cute.
Rufus - Slow down you're wearing me out.OH is terrible with tiling/ papering/papering etc. Don't tell him I told you - I have to go around afterwards and do it again without him knowing. He's taken it upon himself to do my ironing, now bless him - but he's not much cop at that either.
I've been quite good with the Amazon deals so far - I've managed to get two (just practising) and I've only tried twice. Last time I only managed to get two sets of bathbombs, and I think that was because no-one else wanted them.
I've done my volunteering this morning - for an old school friend. She's a weight watcher leader and I help out in the meeting. I'm hoping she'll keep me on track. I lost 4.5lb this week so I'm :jI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Well done on the weight loss Elysia
Rufus - I had a peek at your blog, I love the fabric you're using for the sofa and can't wait to see it finished.
Chel - great draught excluder, so cute! I could do with one of those for the front door as it gets very chilly around there.
I'm fine, thank youOnly 5 weeks left depending on when baby decides to arrive! I'm feeling so much better since the physio, still getting bad aches in the evening but nothing like before, so I think I will be able to work up to the end of term (16th). It means I get longer off with the baby after. Of course, that all could change if baby makes an early appearance! I've got my bag packed and ready just in case. I got a delivery from Superdrug today, I ordered some 3 for 2 make up from them to add to my hospital bag. Everyone will be taking photos so a girl has to treat herself to new make up, surely
.
I won't be doing much money making this week as I'm going to be really busy. It's my son's 4th birthday on Sunday and we're having a party on a riverboat. For months he said he really didn't want a party, then 3 weeks before his birthday he suddenly changed his mind and invited half his nursery class to his party before he even told us he wanted one! So lots of panicked phonecalls with us trying to arrange a party a quickly as possible! Everything is booked now so I just need to see to party food, wrapping prezzies, decorations etc. He'd better think it's the best party ever after all the crazy running around he's caused :rotfl:!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Hi guys, just dropping in to say I have now contacted everyone re their Secret Santa partner and their likes and dislikes! Having great fun checking out what to get. You are all now officially known as my Santa's helpers!
Had a great day out in London today, no money spent either which is always a bonus - although have come home to a 2nd chance offer on some lego for DS so his main present has now been purchased! Going to get MIL's birthday present tomorrow - using Debenhams voucher and her Christmas present on Wednesday and then most of my work is done!Motto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j
2015 Objective - Pay off credit cards/Overpay mortgage
2015 Wins: Nothing yet, but keeping trying :T0 -
Evening all
Sparkley I love the cat draught excluder. We could do with one of those, will add it to my to-do list.
I have finished the sofa at last and all the wallpaper. I have only just sat down and my back is killing me. I am too knackered to take some photos tonight, I am starving so going to have a rest and have some pizza. I am having the day off tomorrow. I am meeting my friend in the afternoon for a natter. We still have a few things to do in the living room, got to do the grouting round the fire and I want to cover my footstool to match the room but it will have to wait until Wednesday now.0 -

nickybo wow you have been busy ! hope your son has the best birthday ever
foxy well done and a big thank you
ive had a good day got lots done and just had another £5 paid to me
for an easy peasy survey on my phone
doing more quick ones on luny and clearing the inbox while im in the mood0 -
Just wanted to say thanks to Legend for telling us sbout the FB selling page - sold my 1st thing tonight (STC). £12 in 10 mins I like that hourly pay
.
Also I did a couple of the Bingo deals on OP cashback on Friday & Caesers bingo has validated £30 cashback already (less £10 to play which gave me £20 free to play). As the payout run is £25 & over I should get that in January (!!). Also did the Paddy Power one (same deal) & won £15 on there so if all goes through will be £55 up.
If anyone fancies a go I do have a referral code which will give me £2 when you get over £15 validated in your account, which either of these deals will do :T. These deals finish 30/11/11. I've put the code on the referrals board or PM me (I've read the small print again).
Also have a product test, £5 from the mobile phone poster thingy, £45 NCT sale, a Mccains voucher I dont think I ordered (shh) & multiple redeems :j.
This is all good as have just forked out £85 for a new laptop screen to replace the one I broke while trying to put the thing out of the way while me & the kids made Xmas decs .Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in infamy!!0 -
does anyone do global ?
what are the rewards? and how many points needed ?
ive only just started and most i've had have been 30 or 35 points
just wondered what that equates to0 -
Hi Everyone
Hope you are all well
Sparklychel - thanks for the info about the courier, they have invited me to an open day thing tomorrow which I am still thinking about.
Also love your cat, you are so clever being able to make that up yourself!
Cha97Michelle - thanks for the heads up about the jobs at AskOllie, I might investigate that
Rufusdog - I love the sofa! You are so clever!
Legend - please can you also tell me about selling things on Facebook?
Unfortunately I didnt get to do my carboot sale on Sunday - my friend who was going to do it with me had to go to work in the end and I didnt feel like doing it alone as it can be quite dull! Turns out the weather was miserable here anyway so I guess it didnt matter too much.
Can I ask a question, when you sell on Ebay how do you work out how much the postage is going to be? I really want to get rid of a few box sets but am thinking they will be quite expensive to post so may not be worth it? Also hoping to resell the snowman knitting pattern I bought on there as I have made it now for my Niece and with the cost of the wool included it didnt work out as cheap as Id hoped so would be nice to get some of my costs back
Did anyone get anything from Amazon Black Friday today? There was quite a lot of complaining about how rubbish it was compared to last year but I wasnt aware of it last year and I got a few bits today which I am very pleased wih - can see myself spending a lot of time on there browsing over the next few days! But I was pleased that I didnt end up buying a load of rubbish just because it was on offer0
