We tried to do dd's fingerprint for the charm but shes ruined both attempts, she wanted to dig her finger in instead of doing a fingerprint so I think we are going to just have a refund and forget that idea. Wasn't meant to be I reckon

OOh thanks for the reminder Savvy.
Can't you wait until she's asleep and do it gently yourself hun? I wouldn't give up, unless the whole thing is ruined.

Sadly the whole thing is ruined, we had two attempts to do it and she ruined both of them. I should have guessed it would be the case, she was the same at our photoshoot. We could pay out again but it would just remind me of how stressful it was trying to get her to do it instead of being a happy memory
Best do my S&S before I forget, hope it's been a money making day for all xComping wishlist for 2017

I feel for you savvy. We had some of those kits where you make a hand/foot mould and then make a plaster of paris model of them, and they were rubbish. We had a couple of goes at it, and the kids were screaming there heads off and then when we made the plaster of paris up, there were air bubbles trapped in it and they weren't anywhere near as good as I hoped. Can't be helped. Shame though as it is nice to have a keep sake.
Elysia I have a few things on the go. I am doing a jumper for DS1, a chunky cable knit with a hood. Then a baby blanket for DHs cousin who had a baby the other day. I think I'll have time for it, but it goes nowhere. Need to keep cracking on, as I do it quick when I do get chance.0 -

Morning all
Flying visit again, still havent finished off the sofa lol. We went to B&Q yesterday morning to get some more tacks and look at the wallpaper, two hours later we were at the checkout with a trolley full of bits and pieces. Got the wallpaper for the front room, ended up buying four different ones, one for the chimney breast with flowers on, then two different ones for around the room, we have wood around the middle so lighter plain for the top and darker for the bottom, then an odd roll for around the door frame into the dining room as we have a bit there that we always do different to the rest of the room. Also bought some ceramic tiles to replace the ones around our fire place, a new lamp, and a gorgeous Christmas thingy that you lay across the mantelpiece which looks like tree branches, cant think what they are called off the top of my head.
Came home and I got the sides and back on the sofa, OH was having a go at smashing the old tiles off then said he would have a go at putting the new ones up, they were going all wonky, looked a right mess so in the end I had to leave the sofa and come and take over the tiling. Then we decided to make a start on the wallpaper, just managed to do the wall with the chimney in, did right across there, looks lovely now.
Then we run out of wallpaper paste so had to leave it, mind you, by then it was nearly 6pm and we were both aching all over so gave up for the night.
This morning I have to go up the town in a bit to get more paste and some grout for the tiles, then I can come back and hopefully finish off the sofa, it just needs the bottom tidying up and covering and the two ends of the arms covered. Then I need to do a bit of painting that we missed and let that dry while getting some more of the wallpaper up. YD will be home about 2.30 so she is going to help me, hopefully do the bottom bits where I cant get down to.
I got through all the quick polls on T again this morning and checked the other surveys but there wasnt any to do. I had nearly £4 added to SN though this morning for ones I did over the weekend so glad about that.
I havent updated my blog since Friday, I am waiting for the finished article before updating now. Thanks for all the lovely comments so far, catch up with you all this evening probs xx0
