DD proudly announced we had our tree up at school, at all we heard was groans off the other mums. :rotfl:
Rufus - wooo. I hope you win the listing. It's lovely that you'll have enough left over to get a new laptop. Hopefully getting it cheaper means you'll get a few extra pressies to open Christmas morning and not just that.
Surveys are quiet today. I think I'd best write a review - I'm getting bored.
ETA - send some surveys my way Chel. Well done on your redeem.
lol at the groans, they will all be cursing you when they are being nagged to put theirs up too lol
surveys are like buses none for ages then 3 come at once lol0 -
Morning all! Havent caught up yet but need to vent! We went to the fireworks display in the town park Saturday night and the first display was set off we were watching it on the field when a firework came into the crowd right next to us! Luckily not hitting anyone but burning and sparing on the ground about a metre from us! Anyway we moved away and it went out and a steward came to attend to it! Went home moaned about it on Facebook and to family but thought nothing of it until I just now walked past the jacket I wore that night! Which still had the £40 tag in as I never wore it before and boutght it early this year! Anyway the sleeve and bottom of jacket has 3 small burn marks on it! On the side the firework was! Now it being a bright pink jacket means that 3 black marks are extremely noticeable on it! I am so mad!!!! I have emailed the Round Table who organised it, well I think the bloke is something to do with the round table, but I dont know what else to do! We didnt do any sparklers and I dont smoke so it has to have happened becuase of that firework!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

I would be fuming too Legend. Not because my jacket was ruined (well I might), but mainly because of what could have happened if it went off. I do hope they replace it for you hun. It must have been extremely frightening for DS.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Legend - As the label is still on, could you not take it back to the shop for an exchange? Just a thought.
Mum2three - ooh well done on your redeem. I seem to be stuck on £19.80. Sorry to hear about your panel thingy. What a swizz! I'm sure it's a con to get out of paying people. No surveys for me either. It's been really slow today.
I've had my Mum and SDad here this morning, and then I had to do some questions on one of my panels, and package some bits up for the PO. Other than that, I've done zilch.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Ooh just read my rant and it makes me look more bothered about a coat than our safety! lol I was shocked that it happened but nobody got hurt so I shrugged it off and DS wasnt alarmed in anyway and I didnt want to make any fuss as it was his first time at fireworks so didnt want to alarm him! The coat cant be returned because I bought it in January/February but just never wore it thats why it still has the £40 tag on! I thought Pink was abit bright but on Saturday it was the only decent coat to fit me!
Thanks for the mention of 1poll off to check it now!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Evening all, been one busy day here but its starting to settle down. Hubby is enjoying being looked after I think, house is staying clean and tidy but to be fair he did let me sleep in until 11am, I must have needed the sleep as I never sleep in usually.
Thanks for the heads up on the market research phone call Elysia, had to do one today for the panel I am on, I was dreading it as phone calls don't give you time to think but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some have mentioned they received their craft orders today, hope you received yours. I haven't had anything yet but keeping fingers crossed for tomorrow.
I still have parcels to sort and book in for collection, have nothing to put them in though. Best get on and do it.
Have a busy day ahead tomorrow again, going to get out of the house for a few hours though as I'm getting cabin fever staying in looking after everyone, will be popping into hobbycraft to pick up my decopage bits (thanks for the tip Elysia) and popping in the fabric store to see how much they sell tulle for. Need to get some ribbon too for the tutu. Quite excited about giving it a go, if I can get the materials cheap enough that is what I will be doing tomorrow night, assuming I don't give in and start my uni course. No idea what I'm doing with it I'm already a week behind
Legend, I would take it back to the shop if they still stock it. If not I hope that you can get it sorted. I think I would be a little upset too.
Loving your makes Rufus, especially the purse it is gorgeous. I think I would have made a teddy or picture frames, that's probably as far as my crafty skills would allow me to go. Gorgeous fabrics
Going to sort these parcels out otherwise I will never do it, then sort out what vouchers are left and who we need to buy for. Our tree is going up 1st December, which is when everything will be bought and sorted for the rest of the year. Can't wait!Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0
