A couple of times throughout the year this site runs a promotion where they pay for reviews of the products on their site. The amount they pay varies but it is always worth doing as the reviews only need to be about 150 words. You get paid when the promotion ends and you are paid via paypal.

The problem people have found with this site is that not everything can be reviewed. The general rule is to look at the little picture of the item, before you click on it. If it has stars underneath, or says something like 1 shop/2 shops etc, then it can be reviewed. If it says a shop name underneath instead, it will just take you to that shop and won't give you the chance to review it.

When I write reviews, I don't search for a particular product as it takes too long to find something I can review. Instead, I go into a category and look through the products for something I can review. I tend to stick with toys and DS games as we have plenty of those

The main thing is not to add any reviews onto the site unless they are running a promotion. It's not like Dooyoo where you get paid for reviews all the time, you only get paid for reviews during a promotion. There's nothing stopping you writing reviews in Word and saving them until they run a promotion though. I might do that, when they ran their promotion just before Christmas I was too busy and missed out.

One more thing, don't copy any reviews you have written in Dooyoo. We did that last year and we nearly didn't get paid as they thought we were copying other people's reviews. I proved that the dooyoo was my own account (same username) so got paid, but I think some people didn't.


Shopping.com have a facebook page which I have joined so hopefully I will get notification of when they are going to start a new promotion .

When you sign up sign up with your paypal email as they send the money to the email you sign up with.

Stuart (runs facebook and the promotions) tends to do payouts part way through promotions now too and doesnt always wait till the end.

Also for the last 2 promotions Stuart listened to how we said it was too difficult to review as not all things can be reviewed (As NickyBo explained) so last time it was a list of the top 100 products and you just selected from that, so it made reviewing much much quicker. And the reviews only have to have an average of 50 words per review this time!

I hope they run another promotion soon but Ive got a feeling it wont be for more few months now.

I've just spent an hour on Toluna while I watch the footie with DH and DS. I was only doing the opinions and quick polls, but 2 of the quick polls led to surveys which I actually qualified for! I think they were both for about 3-4000 points and only lasted about 10 minutes each, so that's a nice bonus.

I've done a few posts on BingoPort so I'm up to 9800 now. Not long to go now.

Nothing on OnePoll today for me.

Hello every one.
I am plannin two things to list on ebay this weekend. It was 3 but my oh wont let me list the tempramental washer/dryer as he wants to have one last go with getting it sorted, grrrrr:mad:
My points for writing opinions over 80 words have not gone on my accounnt yet with toluna for some reason? I think I joined on the 27th and have done one or two almost every day since?
Not sure how they take to go on though.

Thank you Nicky that makes it a bit clearer now, I have found where to do the quick polls and how to create an opinion. Also when one of us has posted a new one do you normally give heads up on here? How do you then find that particular person opinion?

I understand now why the list of names from here was being put together a while back. Whoever was compiling the list, please can I be added (Tan34).

Manged to get a few bits on EBAY this morning, will aim for a few more tomorrow.
