Also I have been with Tolu..a for about 3 years now, only cashed out once and then gave up as the rewards seemed so small for the amount of time spent filling in surveys. I have seen some of you talking about voting and forums, i know you were asking for usernames as well. Is there any chance someone can explain a bit about how else you can earn on the site or at least a way to get more out of it.

Hope everyone is getting on alright with their moneymaking

I find the surveys very hit and miss so I tend to make most of my points writing opinions. For every opinion over 80 words, you get 100 points. There is a limit to how many points you can get just with opinions each month but I can't remember how much it is :o.

Also, you can earn points by starting opinions. If you get 20 responses to an opinion you create then you get 500 extra points. That's how we can help each other, by replying to each others opinions and helping them reach the 20 answers. You can also create polls but you need hundreds of responses before you get bonus points.

Finally, there are the quick polls. You get 15 points for every poll you answer and it literally takes 1 second. Sometimes the polls can be worth up to 120 points and these often lead to a survey after which can then earn you more if you qualify. If you have a spare 10 minutes it's a quick way of adding a few more points.

Hope that helps, any more questions please ask :D

Can this be right? This morning I paid £10 on the moon bingo site to get an extra £30 to pay. I went through Quidco and they are tracking a £12 cashback for me!!! So I've got £40 to play on bingo AND they are paying me £2 - lets hope I win but if I don't I won't have lost anything!
Wow I hope they are still doing this week after next when I get paid xx
  • Morning ladies.

Sorry wasn't on here much yesterday - had a lot going on.

Just checked my ebay for the items I listed last weekend- All 19 items have got watchers, and all but 4 have got bids, total is over £50 now and will put on more this weekend.

Well done everyone on all of your redeems and vouchers :) Feels so good doesn't it! Just think what it will feel like next Christmas when it comes to spending nothing!!

Can someone write a little something about shopping.com please? Haven't heard about that one!

Twinkle unfortunately there isn't a refer to shop and scan but if I do get a code this will be the first place I put it!

Milla I sell anything and everything we don't want or need anymore. Clothes, shoes, toys, household stuff, ornaments, books go on Amazon. If ebay isn't for you don't worry - just stick with the surveys and bingo and you'll still be on your way to a neutral Christmas.

  • Evening ladies, good fun again in bingo tonight, even though I didn't win. I have girls clothes all over the lounge with the hope of sorting them for Ebay tomorrow.

I cant remember who was it who mentioned a site where you scan shopping, might have been twinklekat. is it one you can refer people or not? I tried to join nielson one ages ago but never heard any more. I would quite like to do this though if anyone can refer me.

I seem to be having the same problem with Toluna as you do. Would I be able to join the list made please my user name is the same as it is on here. I would be very willing to help everyone out and eventually I might get round to doing an opinion of my own. :)

My empty ink cartridges are now going for £10.50 lol, finish tomorrow. Nice for something I was going to chuck away.

Pammy - well done on all your earnings. I find on NV that I get screened out all the time. I have been with them about a year and only have about £3 with them but I get through on the TCB site where they pay you 70p although even that has been a bit slow since the holidays.

I had Vista track on TCB the other day, what I did was go through the link for the free stuff, put it in basket like others have said, but then cleared all the cookies off my computer before signing into TCB and it worked with the stuff still free and it tracked the £5 or whatever it was (bit more than that I think), Rufus xx

To follow someone, go to your own profile page (find it in the 'you' section. Then in your web address bar, delete your own name and type the username of whoever you are wanting to follow. That will take you to their page. On the right is a little box with stars in. Under that is a bar that says 'follow'. Click that and you will now be folowing that person.
On your profile page, under your picture, it tells you who you are following.

When you write an opinion try to make sure it's 80 words or more then you get 100 points. I write mine in Word and do a word count to check.
If you create an opinion and get 20 responses then you get a bonus of 500 points. If you get 30/40/50 etc responses you get more bonus points, I can't remember how many though.

So, we can help each other get to get 20 responses on any opinions we create. By helping each other we all should get points - the person who created the opinion will get bonus points once they have enough comments. The person commenting on the opinion will get 100 points if they write 80+ words.

Whether it's worth it or not is up to you really. It depends how long it takes you to write the opinions and whether you have that time to spare. I can't do it every day, nor would I want to as I think I would get bored! I write opinions maybe 2-3 times a week and will see the points build up gradually.
I know I won't earn hundreds of vouchers this way but every bit helps. I'm hoping to redeem twice with Toluna this year, so that will be £30. That's not a huge amount, but with the other bits I'm earning here and there, it will all combine to make a big difference at christmas time :D

    Shopping.com

    http://www1.uk.shopping.com/

A couple of times throughout the year this site runs a promotion where they pay for reviews of the products on their site. The amount they pay varies but it is always worth doing as the reviews only need to be about 150 words. You get paid when the promotion ends and you are paid via paypal.

The problem people have found with this site is that not everything can be reviewed. The general rule is to look at the little picture of the item, before you click on it. If it has stars underneath, or says something like 1 shop/2 shops etc, then it can be reviewed. If it says a shop name underneath instead, it will just take you to that shop and won't give you the chance to review it.

When I write reviews, I don't search for a particular product as it takes too long to find something I can review. Instead, I go into a category and look through the products for something I can review. I tend to stick with toys and DS games as we have plenty of those :)

The main thing is not to add any reviews onto the site unless they are running a promotion. It's not like Dooyoo where you get paid for reviews all the time, you only get paid for reviews during a promotion. There's nothing stopping you writing reviews in Word and saving them until they run a promotion though. I might do that, when they ran their promotion just before Christmas I was too busy and missed out.

One more thing, don't copy any reviews you have written in Dooyoo. We did that last year and we nearly didn't get paid as they thought we were copying other people's reviews. I proved that the dooyoo was my own account (same username) so got paid, but I think some people didn't.

Shopping.com have a facebook page which I have joined so hopefully I will get notification of when they are going to start a new promotion :D.
