Do you think I should rename myself TescosLegendmum?! lol They dont really care how we live Elysia! The system in this country is ridiculous and you would think you could fll in 1 form for 1 department and they could all talk to each other and share info to sort it out! NO! That would be too simple! 20 different forms all needing to know about the other one and waiting on an answer from one department to complete an application for another!
Oh and to top it all the Gas bill arrived on the doormat this morning too! Thank goodness I am so organised with Christmas otherwise I really woulf be stressing!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Legend - Hope you get sorted out hun, ridiculous isn't it
I have managed just over £2 tonight but am totally shattered so not reaching target but I am very please with my monthly amount. Need about another £1.50 to redeem for £50 on DY so gonna have to write probably 2-3 reviews on monday so i can redeem by next week and get OHs main bday and xmas pressies sorted. Gonna cash out on C tomorrow so I get the max possible shouldn't be too far off £40 so pleased with that too.
Hope everyone is feeling ok, i'm on earlies again tomorro so gonna get to bed soon, must go to a shop and get some berocca to try.To get to Disneyland Florida 20160 -
Bum - I went to Superdrug, and wandered around because I knew there was something I wanted but had forgot what it was. :rotfl: Thanks for the reminder Emma. I hope you get your DoU reviews done and your redeem sorted. Well done - you've done yourself proud this month - what a result.

Legend - I remember that so well. I'm glad we don't have to go through all that form filling now. Phew. I do hope they get it sorted sooner rather than later. The gas bill always comes at the wrong time doesn't it. Grrr.
Bunbun - ahh that's lovely. I get to see DD1 when she wants feeding or me do to something for her - she's forever locked away in her bedroom. Mind you, I've seen her loads this afternoon, we've both had new phones, and she's had to set mine up because I haven't got a clue. :rotfl:I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Legend hun, I really hope it gets sorted for you it's awful isn't it. This happened to us last year, but it was the first week of December and we had no food in, we jumped in the car despite the roads being dangerously icy taking it about 5 miles an hour to get to the closest supermarket. When we finally got there we we checked the cash point, no money. We couldn't believe it, after speaking to them as our circumstances had changed they had stopped the money we had and we had to complete new forms to switch over. It's not the news you want to hear just before Christmas. We were on the phone everyday to move paperwork along as quick as possible but it was stuck in someones intray waiting for them to walk it to another department, would you believe that it took them three days to move it from floor two to floor three! Long story short I had bought dd's presents in the January sales so she had toys, it was a last minute rush to get families presents and although it worked out ok in the end it ruined Christmas, it didn't feel magical at all. Luckily this year we have been super organised as you never know what is round the corner, and our circumstances have changed so we don't rely on them anymore but you just never know with redundancies and the state of the economy do you.
I really hope it is sorted quickly, thank goodness we have each other to help push for extra money as it seems we have all had unexpected expenses or moments where money could have been a worry and thanks to each others support we have pulled through xx
I hope all poorlies are having a well deserved relax, you all do so much so have a bit of you time and get better soon, night all xxComping wishlist for 2017

Morning all thanks for all your kind words! The thing that gets me is that child tax credits amount wont chnage but because of change of circs have to put in a new claim~!
Oh well I will reconcile myself with a Tesco trip today, using vouchers and giftcards so trying to spend as little as possible to get some bargains so I dont have to spend real cash. Also meeting some people to sell some bits off Facebook! Gutted as the codes on grabbit for Tesco clothing would be made use of if it wasnt for this situation! I really need a winter coat! Oh well I must avoid the Grabbit board!!!!
Have a good day all! Off to share a bath with Connor! Moneysaving again! lol:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Morning all
Oh got home safely yesterday evening, he was home by 7.15 so we had a nice evening, even YD stayed in, we were watching his videos he had taken while away. He bought me a lovely Cath Kidston purse/wallet and three beautiful pieces of chinese fabric. Not sure what to make out of them yet but will think of something. He also brought home lots of small smelly stuffs from the hotels so might use them to make up a mini hamper for ED or might put them away towards next years. They are all l'occitane products and look really nice. He also bought me a fabric bag like you put toiletries in or something and inside were two small coin purses. Also got a lovely handbag mirror and some ornaments. I was feeling totally spoiled, it was like an early Christmas.
I dont expect to do any money saving today or tomorrow as I am watching the Grand Prix this morning, then going to get the train to my Dad's so we can pick up the car. Hoping we can detour to Dunelm Mill on the way back to pick up some more sewing bits I have run out of. I am just keeping an eye on DY though for my points to clear so I can redeem my next voucher. Might be ready tomorrow.
OH is off tomorrow and Tues so might not be on much until he goes back to work on Wednesday.
Hope you all have a nice Sunday, Rufus xx0 -
Morning everyone.
Lovely to see a few more people posting.
DH is working today, luckily the kids are being great, as I still feel pants, and I want to have a bit of a push today to get some stuff done before month end. I've only managedc 7 beauty reviews which is pitiful, and I have loads of survey invites I have ignored. Cha is ridiculously slow at the moment, so I need to push on.
Just redeemed a £5 am on SB. That will be about a week, but I am glad of that one. I can start sorting some more presents when I get a bit more credit. And not long left.
Thankfully we have one more day off school, and also I got all the uniform stuff done earlier in the week when I was feeling less grim.0
