I'm alive Legend LOL. I had a terrible sore throat all week, and lost my voice yesterday, but I'm still moaning so I must be getting better. ;) I feel 100 times better today thank goodness.

Savvy - where are you? Having read through all the posts I've missed, you've been awol longer than I have. I hope you're OK.

Michelle - sorry to hear you've been poorly too. Blimey that sinusitis doesn't half knock you about doesn't it? Whenever I've heard about people having it before, I just thought it was blocked nose or something. I felt like I'd been run over by a truck. I hope your antibiotics are starting to work. Take it easy hun.

Emma - sorry to hear you and DD have been ill too. Well done on posting all of those reviews. Sorry for a couple of my posts on DoU - obviously not feeling myself on those days. I'm not usually so picky.

Rufus - I'm glad the lady loved the cushion. I haven't watched those TV things on SB for ages, so I didn't know that. I posted my referal once, on the referal board, and since then I've had four people join, but only one does it properly - for the first 850 points they earn, you get the same, so my points are going up every day without me doing anything. It's great - I've never redeemed so fast. For chow - redeem now for it to be paid about the 15th. I think you have to the end of the month, but I'd do it today to be sure you don't miss the deadline.

Gingerandrhubarb - I'll add you on Chow and Dooyoo when I head over there - I look forward to reading your reviews.

Karonher - great review yesterday hun. I hope your ok.

Foxy - how are you surviving with the kids off? I've so much to do and so little energy at the moment. Back to normal next week. Yippee.

DD1 took her QTS for teaching yesterday and passed straight away. That's another one off the list. She starts teaching year 6 in her placement on Monday, so she's really looking forward to it. It seems so strange though - it only seems five minutes since she was in Yr 6 herself.

Off on a survey hunt now - see you later everyone.

  • Hello, havent been around here much this week... I dont even have an excuse because I havent done anything lol. Its been absolutely rubbish for surveys for me this week, I was close to redeem on T, checked this morning and 11000 points expired this morning (yes its taken me that long!) doh. The annoying thing is I checked the outstanding survey points on there and I have 11 surveys worth waiting to go on. I think I've given up on that redeeming before christmas now, so it will go in the baby fund for after christmas! (I'm hoping to use cloth nappies and fund it with survey money!)

I havent had anything on ips for weeks now, which is annoying because I only need 1 or 2 more to redeem (I think they do it on purpose!) none of mys but I had quite a few on there last week so I'll let them off...I need 1 or 2 on there to get to £5 anyway so might get that in time - actually just remembered in 3 weeks i'll get £4 worth for a product test so I'll be able to redeem then at least!

Going to trawl though surveys now, then enter all the comps ending from now until Monday so that will take AGES (end of month).

Hope everyone is feeling better and looking forward to the extra hour we get this week :j

Think I have caught the sore throat that is going round. I took my nephew to see Johnny English and the little darling we were sitting next to coughed throughout and didn't once cover his mouth.

I hve been the same with surveys - maybe the companies are all on half term too.

Noticed another free insertion day for ebay so will have one last go. Clothes are not selling so I will need to look for something else.

I have found a few people on DY but will keep looking and add if I find anymore.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been posting much. I have found it difficult to get up in the mornings, just so tired all the time, and then our daughter is at the stage where she needs alot of attention and we have been ill etc. Hubby also upgraded the computer with 2gb more ram which sadly corrupted everything so he had to have part of his birthday present to sort it out and now the ram has been sent back. I have only just caught up on sending lots of parcels out. Had one person on ebay saying if they didn't get their item within two days of payment they would want a refund but it was a very heavy item that needed couriering, it got sorted but couriering an item isn't anywhere near as simple as going to the post office.

My tax disc still hasn't arrived and my livingsocial points never were added and the transaction doesn't show in my account. Extra stress I didn't need as I doubt the points will be sorted before Christmas now  I didn't end up doing the paypal promotion as I forgot in the end so no £10 for me :(

I'm also a little fed up because we had VIP tickets for Disney on Ice tomorrow but had to pass them on as we are poorly still, made a few FB sales bringing in almost £40 and another swap arranged for £60 vouchers. Have absolutely loads to list on ebay this weekend, and have stocked up on packaging supplies so hoping for one big last push on there.

Elysia - Sorry to hear your still unwell, I hope you feel better soon xx

Legend - Glad you got your £10 from paypal so pleased for you and Elysia, hope you have been busy money making or have you been going to that tesco again. Tesco are on the ball with reduced stuff now sending it all back so no more bargains to be had here, I think I'm going to miss my trips to tesco :'(

Michelle, Emma and Karonher - I hope you all start feeling better soon, tis the season for illness it seems :(

Rufus - It does sound like your hubby is a real jet-setter now, hope he has a safe journey back today and that the jet lag doesn't catch up with him too much.

Pablos- I agree ips do it on purpose, I was waiting weeks and then got 2 at once so finally redeemed yesterday so should get that in plenty time for xmas I hope

Elysia - don't worry bout being picky, I admit I have been trying to do as many reviews as i can before the end of the month so i am aware they are not my best work but at this point I need the boost.

Finally got my T vouchers yesterday took just over 2 months to get them so at least not as bad as the 4-5 months people were waiting.

Finally a little good news, I worked 8 days at my old job and owed them 2 days holiday so was expecting to be paid for 6 days, got my wages slip and they have paid me 10 days plus 2 hours holiday - no idea how they have worked it out but I don't care lol!!

Made 2.90 today and have added 2 review on chow so that will move up a little tomorrow, hoping to do another couple of reviews tomorrow if I get chance and then put my request in on sunday so I can check it has gone through on monday as it will be the last day for the payent request not sure i'll manage though as I leave for work in 3/4 of an hour don't finish til 10 and then back on in the morning.

Still full of cold so feel sorry for all of you that are having other problems as this is making me feel bad enough, feeling really tired though no matter what sleep I get it makes no difference, really hoping its just this cold can't face a full winter feeling like this - anyone ever tried berrocca cause i am thinking of trying some.

Hope the rest of you are ok xx

  • Hi all, was a late start today but made £1.03 by ordering a giff gaff sim via topcashback.

Very pleased as Argos have the baby annabell doll half price and looked through my vouchers and I have £20 in vouchers I can use towards it so it will cost £2.49. So pleased as it was between this and the toffee the pony, dd likes the doll better so I'm very pleased that I have just saved a fortune! I traded some of my vouchers for Disney store vouchers as I loved the pyjamas for her Christmas eve hamper I have decided to get slippers and dressing gown too, again no cash spend. It's really weird knowing I have lots of vouchers left and the majority of the prsets already bought.

Happy Friday everyone, I'm off to bingo tonight so fingers crossed I win or at least come out neutral!
Sold another couple of items on ebay today and its free listing weekend again!

Its my friends 40th this weekend so we are out in fancy dress - our town centre needs to watch out lol, because we will be trick or treating!!!

Need to get back on the money making again, but have ordered ds main Christmas present and used the bp voucher so managed to get £5 off. I decided to go for the midi scale option which means we can buy him some more lego too.

My gran's calendar came today I am so chuffed with it - well worth the £4 I paid to groupon for it!

Just renewed my car insurance - got the renewal quote through, went through quidco to see what other options I had and have managed to get it £100 cheaper plus an additional £20 cashback so I can't complain!

Elysia in answer to your question, I've had quite a good day with the kids - watched Tangled, and kids are now in the garden!

We've got quite a busy weekend ahead, need to get some washing in later ready to go out first thing in the morning, and want to get some items photographed ready for ebay and will relist those that haven't sold this week too! If they don't go this time they are being recycled!

Wow - it sounds like everyone has had a good day.

Savvy - glad you found a bargain baby Annabel. I've been looking out for Toffee for you but couldn't get it cheaper than £40. Sorry to hear you missed Disney on Ice - DD would have loved it. :(

Michelle - when are you going? I bet the boys are really looking forward to it now. We looked through our photos today from Disneyland Paris - I can't believe it was nearly 3 years ago now. It only seems like last year. At the back of the album there are some spaces and DD was hinting about going this year, so we could fill it up. No chance. :(

Foxy - have a fab night out. Your town won't know what hit it. ;) LOL. Well done on the car insurance - what a result. £100 cheaper - that's excellent.

Butterly - it sounds like you've been busy. I wish I could get DD into Brownies, but there isn't one local to me. :( I bet you have great fun. Let us know how you're getting on with your leadership thingymajigs. :)

Emma - that's good news about the wages slip up. Just don't tell them. LOL. Well done on the surveys. I have a big long list of things to review. I go to sleep and I'm reviewing things in my dreams, but I've not had the energy during the day. Maybe next week. I've not tried that Berocca. I think we all could do with some. Actually that's a great idea - I'm going to get some tomorrow. Will let you know if it's any good.

Rufus - your last night of peace. I hope OH's journey is a safe one.

Karonher and Pablos - sorry to hear surveys have been a bit thin on the ground. I can't say that mine have been, both Monday and today I got over £10 in a day. The rest of the week I had lots of surveys but no effort to complete them all. It seemed like everytime I got my emails clear there was another one. I gave up in the end as my head was aching.

I made a redeem on VO today. I was hoping to redeem on OP this week, but not being on the computer much I'm £2.00 off. Oh well, here's hoping for next week. :)

Have a lovely evening everyone - and thanks for letting me know it's free listing again. I'll have another sort out. I can't have much left though - I've MADE over £400 on ebay this month :D

Ohh Savvy - I forgot to say. Did you report the missing transaction on Treat street? Mine tracked ok but DD's didn't.

I recommended four or five people too, but I've got no extra points for that, so I need to get on to them myself. That would be worth either £10 or £12.50, so I'm not letting it go.
