Good morning everyone - I hope those of you that are unwell are feeling better soon.
Last week it was Maximiles this week it's Woohoo - £10 Amazon seems to have disappeared, no announcement on the forum so don't know if it will be back. I wish sites would give a few days warning when they are removing or changing offers.
My plan of attack for today so that I'm raring to go on the 1st November is to:- Clear inbox, and do surveys still available
- Check all sites to see if any others have changed t&cs and see if I can cash out on any.
- Take pictures, so I can list items on eBay tomorrow
- Enter competitions ending 31st Oct and 1st Nov.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you're all as well as possible. I'm sending out cyber tissues, throat sweets and paracetamol to all who need it.
Last night my Mum phoned to say they'd had to put our family cat to sleep. He was very old and had been quite ill so it wasn't a total shock, but still really sad as we've had him so long. I've just had the horrible task of telling my son. This is his first experience of death, other than in films like Lion King, so the poor boy was really confused and then quite upset. We explained that Fudge (the cat) was very old and got very poorly and died and now he lived in heaven. He accepted it all quite easily, but then asked how long it would take for him to get better, he didn't understand it is a permanent thing. I tried explaining that once something dies it can't come back and he got upset so we had to have big cuddles. We're watching Wallace and Gromit now to cheer ourselves up.
My shopping trip a few days ago was good, even if it did totally wear me out! I got most of what I needed for my hospital bag and also picked up some prezzies for my husband. He likes using shower gel and often ends up using mine when he's got none left. I got him 5 different sorts of 'manly' smelling ones - 3 Radox and 2 Palmolive massage type ones. There were all only £1 in Wilkinsons. I've got a nice gift box that they fit well in, I just need to spray paint the box as it's bright pink!
I also got some lovely wrapping paper in Wilkinsons. It's a dark pinky/purple with lighter swirlys, it looks really pretty. I also got a silvery paper with darker silver stars on, that one will be for the men as the pink one if rather girly!
Well, this weekend I really need to focus on DooU. I desperately need to add funds to my Amazon account as my Dad and brother both ask for dvds from there for Christmas as they know it is easier for me. I haven't got enough in there to cover it all so £20 from DooU before Christmas would be nice! I have a few half written reviews that I got bored with so I must FORCE myself to finish those ones. I'm only on £5.39 so I've got a fair way to go!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
aspella there was an email last week some time saying they had swapped £10 am for £20 am at 650 gold stars. We had a bit of a chat on here at the time if it was worth it anymore.
Nicky sounds good you got your hospital stuff sorted. It isn't at all long for you now. I liked being ready early too, just in case. Sorry to hear about Fudge the cat. I felt so sad when mum lost her westie the other year as she had got her when I was 16. You get so attached even if you aren't living there.
I've managed to paste across another beauty review. Dh has gone out now. He says he should be about 3 hours. I think more like 4 or 5, but the kids are being super good so it is all ok.0 -
Afternoon Ladies! My second Matalan order has tracked on Treat Street but only at 4 points so hoping that changes before its credited! This is turning out to be serious hassle and I will not be using Treat Street again thats for sure!
No plans the weekend really horrible weather here! Have carved a pumpkin with DS who got bored half way through and went off to play Mario! Tomorrow may plan a mission to a Mr T's a bit further away but dunno as am waiting on my benefits being sorted as had to do a different claim and they have been stopped now until new claim is processed which can take 3 weeks! So no money for me!

I have finally finished the review I started about a month ago and it has turned into a bit of an epic - 1550 words! I apologise in advance to anyone who reads it, I didn't mean to make it so long! At least it's done now though.
Rufus and any other Gooners - great score eh?Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Fab score Nicky, everyone had been writing us off lol. I had one of my grandsons here watching with me, he is a Gooner as well. We were both shouting so much I got a bit of a sore throat and the dog was going mad, grandson was in stitches.
I haven't done any money making since this morning, just been doing a bit of sewing, embroidering some more sayings for some new cushions.0 -
Evening ladies. Had a good day today, woke up and the tooth fairy left £5 again so that was my £2.50 for the day sorted before I got out of bed

Picked up dd's baby annabell and it looks fantastic, she is going to love it to bits. Bless her I had my laptop out today and she kept asking me to see the baby again bless her. Feeling that I need to sort through the presents bought so far as they are all over the place lol.
Also I'm super pleased as the cashmere jumper I wanted from Tesco which was originally £50, I managed to get for £16.25 with discounts. It's being put aside for Christmas or birthday though as a treat. I don't want for much but clothes are a necessity and nice ones are even better
Yesterday I swapped unwanted items for a hairdressing voucher and clothes voucher so that should be my Christmas clothes sorted and my hair too.
Just figuring out what is left to buy now and getting anything we dont need onto ebay whilst the listing is free.
I'm in such a Christmas mood today, probably because hubby is coming round to the idea it's only 8 weeks away and we aren't finished just yet.
How has everybody done today?Comping wishlist for 2017

I got a couple of nerf guns for ds2's birthday from mr s. OH was awake in the early hours of the morning so decided to go - unfortunately they aren't 24 hours anymore - oops!
ds2 is singing in the cathedral this evening so OH has taken him. I asked ds if he was looking forward to the concert and he siad not as much cos you won't be there (guilt!) so OH said he would try and get a ticket. they are £10-15:eek:
OH was in Newcastle today and spotted some tablets so he has bought one. He will give it to me for my birthday:j
I have had really bad stomach pains this evening - luckily they are bearable now plus the dog has gone to sleep so I don't need to move!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Savvy - wow great rsults today. Well done you. You are more organised than you think - once you start getting things together and wrapping, you'll surprise yourself how far you've come I'll bet.

Michelle - sorry to hear you've had a set back. I'm almost back to normal now - headaches are getting less painful and cough didn't upset anyone while I was in the cinema, which I'm pleased about. I was really worried, and kept taking sips of drink to stop myself. Thanks for the info off SB.
Aspella - Hiya hun. I think we all came to the conclusion SB wasn't worth it. I might just log in for the biggies (if I remember) but I'm not playing all day like I have done.
Butterfly - thanks for popping by again hun. You sound all inspired and christmassy. It's wonderful when you start to see the results of all your efforts isn't it. I hope you manage to get your redeems soom.
Legend - how do they expect you to live for three weeks with no money? It's still worth checking T even only if it's for things to swap. I found two £20+ Bratz dolls on Thursday for £1.40 and £1.50. I've put them up for Nieces birthdays. Organised or what?
Nicky - well done on the review, and getting everything sorted for christmas hampers and your hospital bag. I'm on alert - my cousin is one day overdue atm.
Foxy - I hope you're having a great time.
Rufus - I hope OH arrives/arrived home safely.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Bunbun - awww. I hope your stomach pains go soon. Those tickets are expensive aren't they? They never seem to think about the parents who can't afford it, they just expect everyone to pay up. I hope the pup is doing well and not chewing everything.
Well done on all the redeems. VO was that same for me - I was stuck on £9.95 for about three weeks. GrrrI :heartpuls M.S.E.
