  • Morning all, hope you are all well rested and feeling better.

Tis the time of year to get crafty Legend, you could make some for the Christmas tree or to hang in the living room and then keep them for the bedroom the rest of the year.

Lovely blog Pablos, love the scarf wish I could be that crafty. I sometimes comp, I used to do all the comps when I was pregnant and dd was at the age of sleeping several times a day but now I just can't keep up with making money, uni work, looking after the family and spending time with them, I probably make more money on here than I do comping :)

Have a lovely day Rufus, I hope the train journey is hassle free for you. I can't stand trains either.

Well done on the money making emma, your doing well and it will soon add up. Sttill 10 weeks to Christmas, if you can do that in one day imagine how much you will have in time for shopping and the sales.

Bunbun hope the docs are able to help, I have a poor immune system and rely on iron tablets to keep me healthy, without them I get run down very easily and feel tired all the time. In fact at one point I was having to nap during the day just to get myself together. Hope you feel better soon and try not to over do things, health comes first.

Same goes for you michelle, I know us ladies were born to multitask but if you can see that your doing too much please slow down a little, even if it's asking hubby to do something you would have done.

Thanks Elysia, I added the pictures as an after thought, and spent some time rating last night but my balance is only 25p today so that was time wasted. I'm just going to copy over ones I have previously done and add a few pictures. What do I need to write to make sure they know I'm not plagiarising work from someone else?

Had a long lie in (10.30) this morning and feel fantastic for it albeit I'm trying to catch up today now. Will copy over a review in a minute and another this evening, if I copy over two a day I should in theory make £10 from chow this month. Not great but it was extra I wouldn't have had.

  • morning, hope everyone had a nice weekend ?

all together i listed 44 things  on ebay
got a few bids and watches so fingers crossed

but have been rubbish on the surveys
so today i need to catch up on them

and i'm starting to think christmas presents
need to start making lists and finding all the stuff i've bought over the year and hidden lol
  • Well done on your listings Chel, I managed one in the end yesterday as I spent way to much time on chow trying to sort out my review lol

Its just under 10 weeks now, 69 days although I'm not sure how many of those count as shopping days.

Sounds like you need to make a spreadsheet Chel so you can keep an eye on who you have bought for and which items, and I need a column on mine to say where they have been hidden as I can't for the life of me remember where some items are. Me and hubby have been discussing the last few items we need to get for dd. He wants to get her Toffee the pony, which is around £60 but he isn't willing to get it for more than £25, I saw it on clearance on tesco a few months back for around £15 but didn't but it and I'm kicking myself now.

Savvy - it's just a note at the bottom to say 'This review has also been posted on Dou under the username Savvy Bunny' or something to that effect. ;) Have another look tomorrow. They might have only put the promotion money on and not the rates. I think Rufus had a similar problem last week - they put the rates on but not the 25p.

I'm glad you got a lie in - you might start to be on the mend now. You tend to catch everything going when your body is low. :(

Bunbun - Sorry - I didn't reply. I do hope the doctor can find a cause. Vitamin D deficiency usually causes bone problems not tiredness. Mum has to take medication given to cancer patients because your vit D is supposed to be at a level of 20, and her's is 6. It does sound more like anaemia. I have that - I give blood but sometimes I'm too low in iron and I can't donate. Didn't that happen to you a while ago or was it someone else?

Well done Chel - you're doing really well. I love the Christmas present buying - it makes all the hard work worthwhile. :)

  • Afternoon everyone.

Only just got online today - I have been shopping this morning to get birthday cards for DS1s birthday which is tomorrow. The only thing he has asked for bless him, is a card that has a badge on. Other than that, I haven't even considered them telling me what they want yet and I still pick what they want for birthdays and Christmas. I have got him some lego, and Lego harry potter for the wii.

My mums giving him some cash so we can go to a toy shop with that later in the week and see what he fancies getting. Maybe on Friday when it is teacher training day.

I'm starting to feel christmassy. The shops had stuff in them, and I raided poundland for stuff to put in my shoebox and for little stocking fillers. My mother in law usually does an extended family get together as well for the kids, which involves a giant cracker filled with small presents, so I picked up some bits for that for her too, as she was saying last year it was starting to get too expensive, and it is one of those nice things you wouldn't want to not happen for the sake of helping her out a bit.

I am trying to take it a bit easier. I am shattered still today. I was in bed about 9ish, and DH found me with my book on my face still trying to do something. I am officially a nutter. I'm going to make sure I get in bed as early as I can again tonight.

pablosmummy I added you on ravelry. I hope it is you now and not someone completely random. :rotfl:I must check out your blog. I'm not great at keeping mine up to date with good stuff either, then I feel bad.

Well ladies I am being held hostage in my own house by next doors cat! I think she has the wrong house but everytime I open the door she tries to get in here! Then when I lock her out she miaows at the door for ages! I don't know how I am going to go pick up ds from school! Its not just 1 door either she seems to know if I am going to the front or back door!

No help at all me, but thanks for the giggle. Try stamping your feet at it, or shooing it with a newspaper or something. I have one who lives down the street who used to pick on my old cat, i used to be really mean and chuck a cup of water at it. Served him right though for bossing my cat about in his own garden. :o
  • Lol Legend, the pickles you get yourself into, chuck some food out of the window and whilst the cat tackles that run out of the furthest door away.

We tend to have similar but with dogs, I came home one day to find a dog in our porch, wouldn't let me go in without following so had to find the owner, not easy as the dog had escaped someone elses house and the owners were nowhere to be seen. Also happened in our old house we were all ready to go out and as soon as we opened the door a dog ran in! If your dog runs into peoples homes, keep it on a leash lol

I made it! Savvy I tried the food thing earlier and she wasn't interested! I am not really a cat person, don't trust them for some reason, so I am a bit weary of them but she is only a few months old and I do feel sorry for her as its blowing a gale and wet here! Luckily as I got out the door my other next door neighbour was going in so the cat tried to get in her house! I really need to borrow the oh's parents dog just so he can have his smell round the garden as all the cats in the neighbourhood think my gardens a litter tray!
