I havent got anything planned Elysia. I dont drive so wont be going anywhere except to my town and back. ED is supposed to be coming round on Thurs and I am meeting my mate tomorrow. Nothing else planned though. Havent seen my son for months, his GF is pregnant, due Dec and I havent seen her since she was pregnant so not expecting to see him while OH is away. I expect he has forgotten he is going anyway.

Good morning all, got up late after having a terrible nights sleep. Rushed out to pick up a boots order and get parcel paper, but the cheap carpark I use was full of caravans and burger vans :(

I ended up going to Tesco instead and picked up 6 packs of their finest pork mince for £6 (hurray!) so I will be having a look for recipies and doing some batch cooking the next few days I think. Also picked up a moxie dolls christmas set for £2 usually around £20, will make a lovely present. I sold an item on ebay yesterday so that was my £2.50 for the day sorted too.

Have copied a review over from dooyoo but it doesn't look like it's going to be worth the effort, no extra points were added for my first review and I'm rating hundredds of people and getting very few return rates back :(

Hope you ds has a lovely birthday Michelle, well done with the reviews Rufus. Sounds like you have had a busy day already Elysia!

Off to make dd's lunch and to search out some surveys xx

Savvy - it's because you're a newbie. They'll get to know your name, and know you rate back and it will get easier. Honestly, these things take time, you can't give up after a couple of days. :( Well done on your bargains.

Rufus - sorry to hear about your son. They are probably wrapped up in their own little world.Do they know what they are having? My cousins daughter is due anyday, and OH's neice is due Jan - they are both having boys.

Elysia - they dont know what they are having, didnt want to know until it comes.

Savvy - I joined C years ago (2007 lol) but had not really bothered with the reviews before as I didnt understand the payment. I only started again this month as Elysia suggested I copy over my beauty category reviews from DY. This is all I have done plus like you I have been rating those who have rated me plus some more new reviews if I have nothing better to do. My account balance was on 0 when I started and is about £8.50 now, so money I wouldn't have had. I am hoping it will go up a bit more by the end of the month so keep at it, even if you only get the 25p per review it will be worth it.

Chel - I know how you feel. DD is 9 three weeks after Christmas.

Well done on the surveys - I don't know what's up with T lately. After nothing for months, I've had loads in the past two weeks, and got four yesterday. :)

I hope your rash settles down. What do you think it could be?

  • afternoon, hardly any surveys around so far today, managed 50p. I did get both the product tests though! one has sorted my lunches for the next few days, and the other I get £4 of points just for using it for four weeks (and its something Id use anyway woo!!) so I'm pleased with them.

Had a few surveys on T but I can never remember how many points they were worth by the time I've finished them. My points overall seem to be going up on there which is the most important thing!

Remembered this morning that its Oh's Grans bday on friday and we havent bought her anything ARGH. I'm now trying to speed knit her a bag as we dont have any money spare this month at all. She'll like the bag anyway, shes always admiring the one I made myself, I just need to actually finish it by Friday!

arggh ain't 9 year olds hard to buy for esp when you have to buy christmas and birthday so close , without making him sound like spoilt brat lol he's got everything !

my rashes are a nightmare ,its not real allergies its a problem with my immune system which thinks im allergic to things, anything and everything can set it off , i've seen all sorts of consultants over the years but theres nothing they can do now, they have tried everything
so im on 4 of the 1 a day strong antihistamines and they still don't work :rotfl: got to laugh or i would cry lol
  • well done on the product tests pablosmummy :D lucky you
    now get knitting !!
  • Another DY review written. I think I might copy it straight onto C. It wasn't a paid one, but I will get paid for rates. Getting to be a bit harder now we have reviewed so amny things. I need some inspiration.

C is one of them that drives you mad. I had 9p added on overnight, but then when the prem fund went on, it went up £30 in one night. Just persevere and keep at it, and it does come together hand on my heart and promise, me and Elysia have seen it, as has Emma and claire this month, and Rufus is finding it too. Get past green, and people start realising you will stick around.
