Bought a sledge for £7.50 from argos, my sister starts working there tomorrow so I got 75p discount off too! Every little counts!!

Thanks Elysia.
I have been on the surveys and not much there today so only managed £1.65 today. Although I haven't been here very long, I would like to thank all you ladies (and gents??) as I really enjoy coming on here and reading about what you've all been up to and I find it really motivating as well. Whenever I feel like I'm not getting anywhere fast I come on here and read all your posts and it inspires me to carry on.0 -
Ahhh that's so nice Dj. We love having you here. I agree, if you're having a bad day, there's always someone here to motivate you or give you a kick up the bum. Just what I need sometimes.

£1.65 is a hundred times better than nothing, and how many times have you gone over the £2.50? It's all swings and roundabouts.
Every penny you earn now, is one less you need to find.
Well done hun. xxx
I'm going to check grabbit, and then I'm off. Night all.
Michelle - I hope DS has a lovely birthday tomorrow. Give him a big hug off us. Have a lovely day.

Thanks Elysia. I am sure he will have a lovely day.
I said to him what would you like to do tomorrow. Anything you like, and he asked to go to the park after school . He can be a sweet boy. I said what if it rains, he says, don't worry - we can come home and go another day.
I'm sure he will get a little bit spoiled.0 -

Morning Legend and everyone else xx
I didnt get up till 8 this morning, was sorting out another review on C and D. My accounts have gone up about £1 between the two of them this morning. I had a couple of surveys in my inbox but one was not for money and the other I got booted out. I am hoping something will come up later on.
I had the £5 voucher from MS so that was a bonus.
OH goes away today, I am getting a bit nervous about it being on my own for 10 days lol. I spend a lot of time on my own anyway due to his long hours (sometimes nights) and when he goes to his family and stays over etc but not for 10 days before. YD is hardly ever here either so will probs just be me and the dog. He has gone back to bed for a while, is being picked up at 2 to be taken to the airport.0 -
Morning everyone.
I was a bit busy this morning, but here now.
Rufus the hardest bit with reviews is starting the stone moving, but once it does, your balance can go up £2-3 a day I find. Once you get on a roll it is ok, but take your eye off the game a bit like I have recently, and it starts to slow again. Sounds like you are getting there.
I started well this morning. I had a PC - £3, and then a crown as well, which is brill as I was sure nothing was worthy of it this week. One review i wrote when really tired someone had even said my grammar was really weird. I must still be tired as I can't see how myself, other than using the same phrase a few too many times. Nonetheless, a crown makes up for my slacking a little bit.
DS loved his presents. I didn't go too mad, and he seemed quite happy with his lot. We got him a lego police truck, and 2 computer games for the wii, and then last minute yesterday I got a sticker set in poundland. Altogether about £30 when I normally spend about £50, but he didn't seem to notice. He then get the imaginext batmobile off grandma, and a lego fire truck off DHs aunty. He's getting cash off everyone else so can pick what he wants.
I'm a bit worried though as he took the batman figure to school and I forgot to get it back before I left as I was dealing with cake, parent governer form, and then talking to DS2s teacher as he came out of school wet yesterday as he won't tell them he had an accident, but he will end up sore. I hope he put it in his pocket or the teacher takes it, as he will be gutted if he loses it.
Windy, and sunny here today. I am hoping it is a lovely day.0 -
Rufus - Woohoo - Freedom. Have you got anything nice planned?

Legend - LOL. I didn't post this morning as DD announced just as I was making her sandwiches for lunch that it was photo day today. Had to rush then and straighten her hair because it was all a mess. God know what that child does when she's asleep. She looked like she been dragged through ten hedges backwards. :rotfl: Got her hair all tamed and gave her money, so she has a cooked meal at school today - she thought it was brill. Bless.
Afterwards I popped to Mums for a cuppa and got roped into cutting step dad's hair while I was there. He makes me laugh - he's going on about how it's £18 for a man's haircut now, and I should start charging. Did he give me anything? No. LOL. Not that I'd take it. That's why I don't do it anymore. I didn't like to charge anyone and I never made any money.
I've got a review to paste on Dooyoo - and have another four suggestions added that I need to write about. DooU got me mad yesterday. I messaged them a new item for the weekend promotion - did they add it. No! What's the point of having a promotion on stuff that's already in the catalogue. I would have thought the idea was to get new stuff on the site - and I told them as much. Grrrrr. Rant over!!! Chill Julie x On a positive note - I reached £20 so I might redeem for Amazon but I'll leave it a while longer and see how I go.I :heartpuls M.S.E.
