ooh Lovely bargain Nicky. I must go see if there's any left. DD loves his stuff.

Savvy - not sure what 1000 points you mean hun? Which site?
I'll go add you now. Just get writing - paste some of your old beauty reviews over to chow while the promotion is still on, and any new ones you do can be pasted on to DoU afterwards (just like Rufus has been doing).
Savvy - I've added you and sent you a message on Chow. I still have you in my circle on DoU- I've set up email alert, so when you write a review I'll be there to rate it asap.

Been out all day up at 7 and off to look at some jeep for OH miles and miles away! Bought it and brought it back then I had to search insurance quotes and then off to pizza hut as OH was paying and I had one of those vouchers for pizza and unlimited salad for £5 and kids eat free! Then got back here to pages and pages to catch up on! Have a banging headache now mind! Oof!
Off to catch up and make some money!!!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Glad your feeling a bit better Nicky, I can talk properly again today (thank goodness) but coughing most of it. Cup's of tea work wonders
Will have to check out the superdrug offer Nicky, sounds like you had a complete bargain there.
Thanks Elysia, I have just written my first review on chow, it said I need 1000 points until I am green, have no idea what that means? Do I have to post x amount of reviews before I get paid anything for them? I can't see any info on what being green means or why I need 1000 points to be it lol. So with rating reviews, can I rate as many as I like and do I have an allowance of E's I can hand out daily or weekly? I'm abit confused about it all lol. You are all so good at reviewing, I aspire to write as well as you all and hopefully make a bit of money doing so.
Hope you had a lovely pizza out Legend, it's nice to get some fresh air and enjoy the family xxComping wishlist for 2017

I see what you mean now Savvy. You have a white dot as a newbie. The more you rate, add your opinion at the bottom of someone's review (great review, I didn't know that. that kind of thing) and do you own reviews - the more points you get, and you can quickly get to green. The more you go through the colours, the more they know how good you are at rating etc, and you'll get more rates. With a white dot you won't get many - but us girls will do it for you.

You don't actually get paid for the review on Chow (except when there is a promotion). You do get money per rate - but that goes on the next day, so check again tomorrow.
The better your reviews are, it will earn you some E's, and that's when you get put forward to a share of the pf fund. If you're going to stick at it, rate everyone who rates you. You can see them on the left hand side. It will say so and so rated you plus so many other users. If you click on the other members bit, it will give you a list of everyone who's rated, click on their name or pic, and rate one of their reviews back. If you are just making the most of the promotion like Rufus - don't bother with the rating.
Forgot to say while I was explaining - Hiya Legend  I didn't mean to be ignorant - I'm trying to list on ebay at the same time.

I have been rating Elysia lol, I have rated everyone who has rated me plus some extra ones, but I don't spend as much time on there as I do on DY though. I am glad you got me into it, it will be a little bit extra this month. When does the promotion finish? Do they have one every month or is it just now and then?
No more surveys for me today, OH will be in soon so I will have to see what's there in the morning. Not sure what time we are going out tomorrow but I should have a bit of time before we go unless OH is up early and wants the laptop.0 -
I'm sorry Rufus - I didn't notice. The beauty promotion ends at the end of the month, but there has been one every month since I've been doing it properly (about 4 months). I expect it may be a toy promotion next.

There has been a different promotion every month since I started in April. The first 2 months were any review on any topic gets paid x amount, then it was cars and cameras, household items, and now we are on to beauty. I am mainly posting fairly insignificant stuff where I can like books/dvds, as like Elysia, I am sure the items like computer games/toys will get paid more for in the run up to christmas.
I don't know how I am still going other than perseverance. I did a roast chicken dinner, made some scones and sausage rolls, and now I have to sort the rest of the school uniform.
I still haven't been on ebay, and I need to do shop and scan. No rest for the wicked eh?

Hope so Elysia, I like doing toy reviews. Its a shame they don't give you so much per review all the time like they do on D isnt it. I will have a lot of time on my hands from Tuesday when OH goes away so I can try to get some more reviews done. I am up to about £15 on D so want to try to get to payout before end of month if I can0

Blimey Michelle, you mind you don't over do it. You need to have a rest now and then.0

Rufus - we've been telling her all weeked. She still isn't listening

I feel better after my kip.
DD1 woke me up at 4.30 saying what are we having for dinner? I told her to sort it so I could do my listing - oh the joys of older kids.
We did get a roast dinner but she only likes carrots, so that's all the veg we got. :rotfl:Oh well you can't have everything.
Still have three more items to list, S&S and tissue inbetween watching x factor. If I don't come back, good night everyone.
