Foxy - if you are getting a t-shirt from Vista then you could also get a free mug, keyring, mouse mat, pen etc depending on what's in the latest emails. I get an email almost daily so if you need any links for free stuff just let me know :)
I did a box of 50 presents for my Mum's 50th some time ago, I'll try and think what I put in as a lot of the bits didn't cost much. I definitely agree about checking in Wilkos if you have one near, they are so much cheaper for almost identical things:
    • Miniature drink or one of the cocktail cans with alcohol and mixer already in.
    • Face masks
    • Nail varnish
    • Exfoliating gloves (get from Wilkos, only about 99p)
    • Hand cream
    • Body lotion
    • Various other bathy stuff
    • Magazine or cheap book
    • Favourite sweets or chocolates
    • Funny socks
    • Pretty notebook
A lot of these ideas you could do 2 or 3 of to make it easier to get to the 40.

Hi Elysia - I think I might try to get some more beauty reviews done. I will raid my bathroom, so much stuff out there including all OH's bits and bobs and YD's. I am sure I can find some things to do and as you say, I can then copy them to DY as well. I have cooked a roast dinner already this morning to have this evening so I am free most of the day now. Might as well make some use of the time as busy tomorrow and Tues and may be Weds as well. I might be able to do 4 reviews and just upload one a day.

    Morning All

I've had a busy week and hardly been on MSE at all which is unusual for me. I managed to redeem a £50 Arg voucher on Maxi yesterday though - obviously I've been working towards that for a while though.

    Hope everyone's well

Well done JulieJim, I like Maxi, I redeemed £20 on there for M&S vouchers a little while ago and am 3/4 way towards another one already.

Elysia, you have spurred me on lol, I have got another reveiw copied to both sites already. I found four items in the bathroom which I have brought in with me, the first I found on both sites straight away. I need to check now whether any of the other three are on there otherwise I will go and get some more. I am determined to do four today. I wont put any more on though, I will save them and put one on a day.
  • Well done on your £50 redeem Julie, that's great!

I like Maxi too, I find it adds up quite quickly. Thanks for mentioning about the new videos yesterday Rufus, I did them all straight away so I wouldn't forget. Does everyone know that most of the junk emails from Maxi give you 5 points for clicking on them? I'm sure you all know already but worth a mention just in case. I usually get at least one worth 5 points every day.

My Ebay is doing well, 4 out of 5 selling and 2 of those items have people fighting over them already :) I'm a bit addicted to checking it, especially on the final day!

  • Good morning everyone, hope you slept well, and those that were up with the birds try to take it easy today.

Thanks for the advice re the jewellery. The kids get around £60 value for each of them (we tend to spend a fraction of that), I find the boys are easy enough to buy for but it's just hubby's neice as shes at an awkward age. The problem is their presents are quite big in comparison and as we have this voucher I thought a few extra bits for her would be nice to even it up a bit. It's not cost us anything and she is the only suitable recipient.

Love the survival box ideas, they look really good :)

On the lookout for craft ideas for Christmas now, sadly looks like we missed the boat on making chutney in time :(

  • Afternoon, I'm so rubbish at keeping up on the weekends, did manage £2 viva yesterday and another £1 today, also had quite a few on T but thats about it!
Going to line the bedroom curtains with fleece this afternoon while OH is here to get them down for me, will carry on making christmas decorations aswell, theyve turned out quite well! snowman (well actualy it looks like a bell with a face to me but there you go haha) christmas tree, star and my favourite, a penguin. MIL seemed to like them anyway... I could make her some for christmas now I think about it! Also good to be actually using some of my craft supplies, we need the room!

  • I didn't get a wink of sleep last night. In just wasn't tired. I am feeling it a bit now, but just managed a little power nap on the settee and I will make sure that I am in bed early tomorrow to compensate.

I need to do loads today.

I logged onto yougov this morning and did a 75p one. Balance is already back up to £6.25. I do like that one.

I will potter best I can today, but I think it might be a day to do a few chores and then get some knitting done, though must remember to do that washer on ebay for NDN.

Least it looks nice out today.
