It is such a good feeling when you get your first voucher. You just need to stick at it - the survey side of things are a bit quiet at the moment but it will pick up! It is also awesome when you get your first product test. Last year I didn't have to buy any washing gel, washing up liquid or hand soap as I was product testing so often! Also got things like Cocopops cereal and fake tan. Just keep going!
It was great, what sites do you do that give things to try?
Its a bit addictive this mse lark.
I am also nearly half way to a redeem on toluna :T
This is my first week doing all the suveys, bingo etc and so far it seems quite good really. Like others say suveys are a bit slow but every little helps.
Looking forward to new ventures

P.s. Guys... On the survey front i've been doing these for a while, toluna and one poll can be very slow, I find ipsos and lightspeed panel are the best and most frequent. Also panel base, if any body wants me to refer them to panel base just pm your email as I get 20p for the privilege ( well every little helps) but also when I started with them I found I got to my first 10 pound redeem very quickly

And make sure everyone is with a cash back site online I do topcashback but a lot do quidco too...every time u buy something it adds up x
I may try lightspeed panel. Is there a referal to this or not?
Looking forward to new ventures

Valued opinions, Lightspeed (now mysurvey) IPSOS and Global Opinion Panels (haven't heard off them for quite a long time though) have all sent me something. I'm also on Tesco Home Panels and have had kitchen roll and toilet cleaning wipes off them to test .

Hiya Ladies. Sorry to be AWOL a lot this week. OH is off work (holiday) and also has Man flu so lots of running around for me. Add to that I also do Avon, and during the year the brochure comes out every three weeks, but at christmas time when people don't spend a lot, it's every two (crafty). So I've been delivering Avon orders and brochures as well as everything else.

All done for three weeks now, so I can concentrate on things again. DD2 back at school tomorrow and DD1 at uni, and OH back at work on Monday. Yippee.

Can't stop on long tonight - I haven't done bingoport yet. Have done all surveys though, and some of the Danone Panel I'm on. I know how you all feel, trying to fit it all in. It does get easier I promise.

Tranmere and Nellis - do you both understand bingoport now? I can do a quide guide and pm it to you tomorrow, just in case. I would do it straight away ordinarily, but so tired today. I'll just write a note to remind me.

Newworld - Esmer was correct - they are sending an imterim payment for Tax credits, my friend told me, she'd had one. Do you think it could be that?

Susan - you're not having much luck lately - I had hoped this year would be different for you, but 4 days in, it doesn't look like it. Sending a big hug - I know it doesn't help, but it might make you feel better.

Twinklestar/Nellis/Newworld - I will NOT allow anyone to give up before January is out! Do you hear? ;) Come on girls, you can do it - It just takes time. Do a little bit here and there if you don't have time to sit and dedicate an hour - every bit mounts up ;)

If anyone thinks they are losing motivation and getting fed up - please say so, pm me, or post on the board how you are feeling - guaranteed most of us have been there and done that - it gets easier, it really does, and if your fed up of ebay, or can't get motivated to do it, Next month will be a different challenge, and you may be brilliant at that. Just don't give up!!!

Right I'm off - goodnight all. xxx

    Hi all

First day back at work today after so long off so been really hectic, by the time I got home it was gone 7pm, then the shopping was delivered, did dinner, baked some cakes, watched silent witness, iced cakes, cleared up and sat down just before 11pm :(

I had planned to do ebay tongiht after failing on Sunday but that didn't happen again!

I have just done some opinions and polls you guys have posted on Toluna, had a load of emails from them and VO today about surveys but just haven't had time to do them, sorry if I have not got round to your polls yet I will do them in due course.

Hope you all had a good day, I am off to sleep now as back up at 6 for work
Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!
  • Well so far I've joined OnePoll and Bingoport. Seem to have more luck with the slots than the bingo but I'm making sure to spend the right amount each day and post 10 x nonsense on the forums.

Am on £40 with yougov and £48 with new vista so hopefully a couple of cheques winging their way to me soon.

I'm not ebaying at the moment, but have a sealed pot going and have a dedicated christmas account for the money I make on surveys and through cashback.

I've got almost £50 on consumer pulse so trying to decide which vouchers to go for.

All this together will mean I definately have a cash neutral christmas in 2011 and hopefully a few cash neutral birthdays and events in between.

Aren't we all doing so well. I hope we keep up the momentum. I'm always good in January and then go on the wane so will be coming here for inspiration!

    Xmas Saver!
Just a thought re cone research!!!! they originally paid out £4 per completed survey, but more recently the newer people that joined only get £3 per completed survey. But as they say every penny helps.

Nipped into town, zapped around - hired a mobility scooter - took my 6 attempts to get out of the travel egents - nearly needed brandy for the shock, I had planned to go Prague for 3ngts, my darling parents are giving me £400 for bday (40th) split into 2, £200 - get a nice piece of jewellery from Dom Rep, then thought put the £200 towards Prague expecting to add another £100 to it.... the cheapest quote the travel agent came up with was £525... so prague is now a no go!!

If anyone pops into Wilkos, the last bits of xmas decs, cards, etc all reduced to 25p a pack, got daddy darling moaning!! so i had to be refined and just get 2 pack of cards!!

Bodyshop - there sales good - alos if you have love to shop card (£5 for a loyalty card, 8 purchases or 12 months which ever sooner, on 4th soend get £5 off your shopping or choose gift for £5, 6th shop £10 gift, bday £5 gift), so got 3 sets of bags - they were originally £15, reduced to £5, then another 50p off.

So ones for me mothers day, one for mother off dd, then friend for her bday.

Awaiting Boots 75% off, my points are burning a hole in my card!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

zangels - the sun tokens come out saturday, the daily mail started yesterday. Also if you pop into mcdonalds, sainsburys or other coffee shop, they`ll let you have the tokens out of their newspapers for free. Once you go on one holiday they send you offers to go next time, with a couple of tokens to get you started and you`ll be able to book on website:D.

esmer - hope you get well soon:o

clarelulu - thank you for your kind comments:)

mum2one - sign up for travelzoos newsletter, they send you 20 best travel deals every week and prague usually on at least one a month for £99. I used them a few times for various destinations.

elysia - i`m ok , was just sounding off, i get annoyed at accidents, you be pleased to know I had my 3rd, OH was putting xmas decorations in roof space in garage and of all the boxes he dropped, he dropped the china one...it contained all the xmas ornaments and plates, dishes. I shouldnt be pleased I know but it gives me an excuse to get some more and perhaps the giraffe wont look so bad, because he doesnt know its coming.......mmm perhaps i could do with another one...

I`m putting an idiots guide to vista if anyone wants one. Its a step by step guide to getting the best deals, its lengthy but worth it....just PM me;)
