thanks, i will keep an eye out.
The sun holidays is where you collect vouchers from the un newspaper and then send them off and pay £9.50 per person for holiday. All the details are on the sun web site.
Looking forward to new ventures

Welcome to all newbies from another newbie!!
  • sun holiday are brilliant value. we went to isle of wight last year. Even with all extras we added like 3 extra nights, upgraded chalet extra bedroom, bed being made etc think it still only cost £300 for 4 of us 1 week.

Sorry you didn't win 2night stepmum, hopefully u will have more luck tomorrow.

Good luck to all back on the school runs tomorrow, LOL
  • Thankyou for explaining the sun holiday offer. I will have to have a look at that as a holiday seems out of reach for us at the moment.

  • Evening ladies, how was bingo this evening? I played a little earlier on, no wins :(.

OH and I went to Mr T's tonight for our weekly shop... Our aim was to spend max £30 on shopping - something we have never done and we both really struggle to do. Well the good news is we spent £27.72 on food! Putting the extra couple of quid in the savings account. Bad news is we had a couple of birthday cards to buy, I bought some xmas wrapping paper (3 rolls at 50p each, 3 for 2, so £1) xmas cards (50p) and OH bough car mats for the new(ish) car. So, good that we spent less than £30 on food, bad that we are spontaneous shoppers and can't stick to a list. But total savings £1.72 on the bottom of the receipt!
Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Well done on the shopping. I was so pleased at bingo tonight I won a line and a full house. I also did a redeem so am pleased. We are budgeting to 60 a week on shopping and then hoping to save some to put in the savings pot. I'm so glad to have my first voucher on the way . I have never done any of these sites before.
Looking forward to new ventures
  • It is such a good feeling when you get your first voucher. You just need to stick at it - the survey side of things are a bit quiet at the moment but it will pick up! It is also awesome when you get your first product test. Last year I didn't have to buy any washing gel, washing up liquid or hand soap as I was product testing so often! Also got things like Cocopops cereal and fake tan. Just keep going!

Thankyou for explaining the sun holiday offer. I will have to have a look at that as a holiday seems out of reach for us at the moment.

These have been a godsend for us for the last 3 years. I would recommend saving the vouchers and getting a nice 4 night break. We went to both Devon Cliffs (Haven) and Cayton Bay (Park Resorts) last year, and had an excellent time for a family of 4 for less than £150 including all the linen and entertainment passes. Only thing I can't guarantee for you is the weather, but I can say if you were to go to Cayton Bay (Scarborough) and the weather is nice, there can be no better place than the South Bay and fish and chips from winkin willy's!!!:D

Have to thank mum2one for the heads up on the argos trade ins, with the amount I have to trade in at the moment I'll have enough argos vouchers for next Christmas :-) me and husband have both finished the games we got for Christmas so that's 60 quid straight away. I have quite a few other games too!
Bought my Christmas cards in the wilkinsons sale and got my brother some cool marmite gift sets from argos for half price, so just need to do some ebaying to make those neutral...waiting for the boots 75 percent off sale :-)

P.s. Guys... On the survey front i've been doing these for a while, toluna and one poll can be very slow, I find ipsos and lightspeed panel are the best and most frequent. Also panel base, if any body wants me to refer them to panel base just pm your email as I get 20p for the privilege ( well every little helps) but also when I started with them I found I got to my first 10 pound redeem very quickly

And make sure everyone is with a cash back site online I do topcashback but a lot do quidco too...every time u buy something it adds up x
