We have that weather too Legend. There are bins rolling around everywhere!!
So tired this morning as up in the night a lot with Jack crying. He says his ear was hurting so gave some calpol but still took ages to calm him down enough to sleep. Then awake just after 6am which they haven't done in ages. Mind you they start preschool next week so best get used to getting up again. They have a welcome day on Thursday, since theirs closed down back in Feb they have had no-where to go so they are very excited. I am going to miss them sooo much, they only went 1 day a week then and now they are full timers 5 morns a week!!! Hopefully gonna be busy though as even though my child minding cert hasn't arrived yet I have 2 1/2 days full already waiting for me to begin!!!!
Avon delivery day for me today in this lovely wind and rain so that is going to take most of my time and then work tonight so unlikely to hit my £2.50, will try and pop on when eating lunch if I can. Busy busy busy0 -
Good morning everyone! today is a GOOD DAY! just found out I have won a MASSIVE bundle of girls toys from a comp I entered on the competition board on here. I am soooo excited! thats my three neices christmas presents sorted and more!! Its saved me so much money, I cant believe it. I havent won anything for ages! arghhhh so happy.
Going to find something to eat (my second breakfast actually lol) and then try some surveys!May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -
Very windy here too this morning. The greenhouse had blown over even though it is weighted with big rocks. I may go down and take the sides down on the trampoline if I can be bothered, though as it hasn't gone over already, i can't see it going now. Crazy weather.
DS1 was deposited at school this morning. While I like the school a lot, it is not very clear what everyone should be doing, and I have no idea who his specific teacher is this year as he is still in the unit. I will make a point of asking this week as I don't like not really knowing. He's still in the same foundation unit that was his nursery last year, so he was happy enough to stay, but it was absolute chaos this morning as no-one knew what to do.
Picking him up at 11:30, so not long really today.
PAblosmummy fab start to the day for you. That is a fgood result.
Good luck everyone on crown day.

Not one survey this morning! I'm still too excited to care though lol. I cant believe I am so pleased about some barbie/hello kitty/moon sand etc etc stuff! Not only has it saved me a LOAD of money, but whatever is left after weve picked a present for each of my neices, will go to my sister to give them as presents from father christmas so its saved her some money aswell!
Doh - I cant believe I couldnt work out how to work out what the points were worth - I swear I'm not this stupid normally! pregnancy brain strikes again.May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -
Morning, can I just ask a bit of advice from those of you that use vista print. Yesterday I added a free mug to my cart, uploaded a photo on it cost 34p, also started to upload some pictures to design a calender, also free, I was going to finish the calender today and complete my order, But when I have gone on this morning the calender and the mug are no longer free just discounted, any ideas? Thanks ladies in advance x0

Hi hun what you need to do is go back through the links you originally used to get the free calendar and then it should all revert back to being free! Thanks for the reminder as I need to start digging out photos for my Connor Calendar 4th Edition!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Morning oops afternoon everyone.
Legend - I hope you're ok now. Hope you thawed out a bit. The wind has stopped, and the sun is out again at the moment here.
September - pm'd you.
Pablo's - Fantastic - what a win! and how lovely of you to share them out.
Michelle - well done. Not been on DooU or Chow for a week. I have had three product suggestions go on though, so I'll get round it soon.
Nicnax - thanks for the reminder too. I need to start orderering for Christmas pressies.
DD was soooo excited to get to school this morning, and wouldn't you know it - her name labels turned up this morning. I've got to label all her uniform tonight now.
I decided to strip the beds this morning, and tidy upstairs. Then one job led to another and I sorted all my Christmas presents out. I have a massive box of stuff I've bought as bargains but no-one to allocate them too, so I've saved a few, and some are going to be ebayed. Each person has their own dedicated box, or bag, and they are altogether so I can wrap them easier. All I have to get is some bits for DD2 for Christmas, Step Dad, and OH Christmas, and my Mum and Stepdad for their birthdays.
Just having a rest and a cuppa while I check emails and grabbit and then I have to pop to shops, and collect DD2. It never ends does it.

Found this thread after seeing the link in another part of the forum and thought I should join in!
I'm a single mum of 2 kids (5 months and 2 years) as of a few months ago when my husband and I separated. In the last week he has kindly stopped paying utilities so thank god my benefits have just come through. I'm not having a dig at anyone but I hate being on benefits but needs must I guess.
So anyway, I've been doing Valued Opinions properly for a couple of months and have just cashed out £10 with another £10 waiting to be rewarded. I'd signed up to OnePoll but not really used it but having found this thread, I shall make it my mission to use it from now on.
Thanks to Tesco bargains, the Asda DTD, the normal DTD and some excellent misprices I am ready to start life afresh. I have crockery, cookware, lots of non-perishables (or long life) foods like custard, Heinz meals, cereals (reduced and on offer), jelly, tins, sauces etc. I can now easily win a No More Toiletries challenge as I'm fully stocked on everything thanks to Ts and Superdrug. I'm coming down in kids clothes for a good couple of years, my attic looks like Mr Magoriums Magic Emporium so no toys needed for Xmas plus I stocked up on wrapping paper in the M&S January sale so none needed this year. I've even managed to sort out most of my family's Xmas & birthdays thanks to Tesco & Bodyshop glitches.
I hope over time to get even more pointers/hints from the great folks on here.0 -
