  • I know, it does add up quicker than reviewing, I think, so I am going to give it a good go. I think I'll get quicker too once i get a bit more feedback on how I am doing.

I just had a little fumble in the present cupboard to find out a CD for Dh. (got it free earlier in the year from maximiles. ) I will buy him a bit of chocolate, and probably a bottle of rum. We don't go in for big pressies really. There is a lot in there I got for last christmas then thought to myself that it was too much so didn't give it my 2. I will sit down in a couple of weeks when youngest monster goes to nursery, and I am going to write down everything I have and see if I can work out what I still need. I just get the feeling the rest of the year will go before we know it.

I need to have a good sort of the downstairs of the house this week. We have to have a home visit for DS2 for starting nursery. I know they will only be here 10 minutes or so, but the house is always so cluttered. If i move some stuff about this week, I think it is most likely they will visit next week, but who knows. I guess it won't be this week with my DS1 and his classmates starting proper school.

I've also got a school application form for DS2 I just need to fill in, and the packing, and I'm being good and have already wrapped up all the September presents and DS1s October birthday pressies that I have already. I'm feeling ok, but I'm going to try and work through it to not get stressed.

Next thing will have to be spray the school shoes with that waterproofing spray, and get the name tags done, then I can iron this afternoon so I can do money making tonight.
  • Managed a review this morning 2/15 for this month. Even managed a level 1 so 600pts for just review. I never manage a level 1 usually!

Feel a bit fed up today having some trouble with my family again. I know I should just get on with life and enjoy having my two boys to look after but I just can't help let it get ontop of me. Being struggling the last few day :(

Hope you manage to find the charger rufus, its so annoying when you lose things, I'm always doing it!

  • I'm really excited, I made £2.25 today on surveys, it's the best I've ever done so I'm hoping as I get more experience I might make £2.50 a day :D and even a review, but I think the review will take so long that I'm not sure whether to have a go or what.

Hope you are all ok, Claireylulu I hope you are feeling a bit better (emotionally), you can choose your friends but not your family.

Actually joining in this thread (I'm a bit of a lurker but I will try harder to post lol)has sharpened my money making ideas, I might not be doing v well at mo but I'm gonna get better!! And I have some little knitted animals and Xmas trees that I need to finish so that HOPEFULLY people on my Facebook page might like them, and offer me some money...................I'm only talking £1.50 or £2 here but every little helps :D

Sounds good to me September xx

I do the tv survey thing, you don't usually get anything for it but last week they were doing a special thing where you had to fill in a survey everyday and then you got £5. I thought I had missed the first day but I got an email today to say I had completed it and I could redeem so went on and got another Am voucher and it came straight away. OH spent some of my vouchers yesterday buying a phone for his Mum for her birthday later this month. It was only a cheap basic one, £24 and he is going to pay the cash towards YD's Blackberry in return so I havent lost out.

That's my motto too September - A penny earned is a penny less you have to find at Christmas. :)

You're doing well hun - keep at it. You'll get there, remember slow and steady wins the race :) Writing a review is easy - stick to food while you're learning, describe the taste, texture, look, and how much it costs, whether you would recommend it to a friend - and that's all there is to it really. I've been reviewing tonnes of bath products lately, but before that I had a run on kitchen utensils. Makes boring reading for everyone else, but quick and easy to write. :D

If you're up for a bigger challenge, I can pm you the list of sites I do, and sign up to one or two a week.

Willow - well done - how did you do?

Have been awol this afternoon - getting DDs stuff ready. I bought her five pairs of trousers for her uniform already, and today she wants a skirt, so I had to go get one. Then she said her PE shorts didn't fit, after her summer growth spurt, and had to go get new ones. Then she's had her hair cut from way down her back to above her shoulders. When I go to collect her from school tomorrow I won't recognise her. :)

Ohh - came on to post for people with 3DS's for Christmas. The HUT (go through quidco or TCB) have a one day sale on, and the 3DS games are fab prices. I bought one earlier, and am just going to buy another two. :) I think DD's B/day in January is done now :D

Ohh I knew there was something else too - I told you I was forgetful (Rufus did you find the charger? It'll be in the last place you look) Oh blimey I've forgotten again now because of waffling. I'll be back in a minute when I remember.

September, well done, once you get into the swing of things I'm sure you'll be able to get 2.50 a day!
Claire, ((hugs)) I know how hard family can be sometimes, just keep focusing on them boys of yours x
Elysia - It didn't pay to get organised early then lol, bet her hair is looking lovely, mine is well overdue a restyle!

I've had a crap day. DD managed to find the permenant marker I use for writing on CD's and whilst I was pegging in the washing managed to draw all over the kitchen floor, some of the lounge carpet, her dolly and her tea set. Annoyed to say the least! So I've been on my hands and knees scrubbing all afternoon. The whole house stinks of bleach, I stink of bleach, roll on her bedtime and having a longggggg soak in the bath!

No money making here yet today, got some waiting in my inbox. Quick question... does anyone know how long Ipsos normally take for Amazon vouchers? Managed my first redeem a few week ago :D

Sorry chick - I've never got Am off Ips. Perhaps one of the others can help.

My DD did that too - when she was about three. I scrubbed and bleached the lino tiles, and the dining room table so much it took the colour out. Then there was the time she got the nail varnish.

I just remembered what I wanted to post earlier - gosh I'm getting old. :o It was McCain, they've added on more points again. I'll be able to redeem again next week, and I only did it 5 or 6 weeks ago. :T

I had an email off one of the panels I'm on - I expected £6 for the month, but for some reason they're sending me a cheque for £23. :D

  • Elysia - thank you soooo much for that list, going to start working through it this week!

Not a very successful survey day really, seemed to get kicked out of most of them. Did a few on T though so its not all bad, also got a few on...oh dear I cant even remember what site it was now lol

I'm (half) aiming for £2.50 a day but how do you count the ones that are just points?
