  • Morning all. They didn't turn the music down to a reasonable level until 2.30am so ended up sleeping around 3am, getting up ealry today as we need to go out. They have started with the music again already, not amused in the sightest.

Well done legend, it all helps, glad that horrible ebayer didn't get your cards voided. Hope you find matching furniture,

February - I was going to sign up but they wanted all your NI information at which point I felt unhappy to continue. They do not need that information and it is not information I would be willing to give out to a stranger.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend and lots of moneymaking going on :)

That's what put me off, when I did a similar job before I sent all that type of information after I'd got the job and I think I remember I sent it by post. I will give it a miss its not much they pay you anyway and seems a lot of work for not much return.
  • wow 53 surveys! I did 3 lol. If anyone has a spare..hour or so haha I would LOVE a pm about what sites you use! I've signed up to all the survey ones in the first post but I'm pretty sure you all use alot more than that and I'm just a bit nervous about signing up to sites before people have mentioned them to me before and said they are ok! ( yeah I'm a big wimp) If I can do anything for you in return just ask and I will! I have alot of free time at the moment....

BUT I got my first £10 on viva! well its processing but still..I thought it was exciting. I also managed to peel half of my nail off last night when I was making an apple crumble, its my crochet finger aswell which is a disaster! I was making good progress on a minnie mouse hat for my neice for christmas so thats been put away until my nail grows back enough. I also knitted a mitten for my other neice for her bday and it turned out to be the longest, pointiest, thinnest mitten I have ever seen..I dont know what happened lolol. Not a very successful day really!

Pablo - made me laugh at the long pointy mitten. I have had things like this happen when knitting before, you follow the pattern to a T and it comes out wrong. A few years ago I was going to make my Dad two cardigans with the zip up the front type. I bought some grey wool and some black wool both DK, bought from same shop but they were different makes, but just plain common or garden DK anyway. I thought I would do one with black at the bottom half and a bit of pattern in both colours and then grey at the top half and then do the other one with the colours reversed. I knitted the black one first and it came out lovely, then knitted the grey one and it came out about 6 sizes bigger. I had used the same number of stitches and everything. I gave them both to my Dad and he laughed when he saw the grey one but he used them both, he used to put the grey one over the top when it got really cold.

I have done a bit of rating this morning in between playing video games with eldest GS. He helped me get the dinner cooked and out of the way ready for tonight so gave me a bit of extra time to sit with him.
  • Hi

I did give out my NI number. I wouldn't for just any site, but this is entering into a contract of employment, and I had to give this when I worked in any job before, so I didn't have any problem with it.

I see why you don't like it, but I think it is ok. (Touch lots of wood now. :rotfl:)
  • Hi everybody, hope you are all enjoying the last of summer, its raining buckets here!

I'm impressed how you all manage to do lots of surveys etc, which are the best sites for this? Toluna always times me out, as far as I can tell Opinion World don't pay for their surveys, and every time I try to joing Viva it always says they will pay in dollars! Or is there a UK one I am missing?

One Poll seem to be the greatest payers, I'm spending hours on my pc trying to do surveys, arghhh h

and I knit tiny little animals which people like but I had intended to try and sell them on ebay or etsy, but they have a copyright on the patterns, any ideas about what to do about that? Or will I just not be able to sell them online, bah humbug!

    Oh, and congratulations to Mummyofthreeboys!

September - heres' the link for viva http://www.vivatic.com/jobs/surveys. They pay by paypal - have you filled out the address bit, so they know you're in the UK?

You can sell things that have a pattern but you have to find out what the designers angel policy is. I've had to do this for the patterns of cross stitches I make up and sell. Some are kind and will let you do as many as you wish, and others it might be 5 of each design. You just need to email and ask. Don'r risk it and get into trouble with copywrite.

    Rufus - well done.

Legend - is that your best month yet?

Savvy - have a nap this afternoon.

Michelle - did you get your head around it yet? I think that may be the thing I went to sign up to, a while ago. Like everyone says the NI put me off - but if it works I may be tempted. ;):)

Pablos - I will pm you a list later on - I'm just listing some stuff on ebay at the moment. I only just realised I hadn't logged in to say hello today.

HELLO EVERYONE :D. I HOPE YOU'RE ALL OK. WILL BE BACK IN A BIT

oOOH JUST REMEMBERED - S&s AND TISSUE FOR LEGEND. bUSY, BUSY, BUSY - SEE YOU LATER. :)

September - Opinion wrld does pay, either paypal or vouchers, I've had quite abit from there in the past. Thats one of my faves along with viva and my survey

I'm on 2/15 reviews. Wrote another food one, but I'll wait until I put that one on. Been baking with DD today, only basic biscuits... I must try something a little more exciting! Did a couple surveys on T, didn't realize I'm almost at 60k points, probably wont get a voucher before christmas but it will be nice if one comes in time for january sales!

Hope everyones having a nice sunday x

Cornish - T vouchers come from the UK now so they only take 8 weeks. If you put some work in, you can have one for xmas, and one for the sales. :D I've just been to DoU - thanks for the extra rates. Need to dish out dinner in a minute so I'll pop back and rate yours. Opinion World is an odd one - I only ever get charity surveys. :(

Nicnax - thanks for the SB code - I got that one. Almost at redeem now :)
