    Morning all

That tv survey I do is GFKmedia, I cant find a referral button but if you google it you might find it. Its definitely not a big payer though, just for fun. I have had £15 from them in 4 years.

As for Archerfish, I used to belong to them but it took so long to get to payout for £3 I gave up. You used to earn something like .001p per click and you needed 100 of these for just 1p or something stupid like it. I gave up after about a year.

I checked my Ipsos account this morning and its now saying my voucher from June was sent 22nd of July?? Wasnt saying that at the weekend and I have not received it. I have sent them a contact message to see if they can tell me what is going on with it.

I redeemed on DY this morning so waiting for that voucher to come. I didnt get a review done yesterday as OH was hogging the laptop lol. He is working tonight so should be up in bed most of the day today but I came down this morning and found him asleep on the settee, bit of a nuisance as means me and YD cant use that room and the tv and everything is in there, no comfortable chairs anywhere else either. Glad I am going out lunchtime to meet my friend, and hopefully YD will be off out too when she gets up.

I just checked my spreadsheet and my Amazon balance (OH used some of my vouchers so had to redo my spreadsheet). I now need £40 worth to get OH some dvds, £45 towards YD's Blackberry (OH is paying the rest) and £70 or son's SatNav (might change this to less and get him aftershave as not sure whether his cigarette lighter works in his car). Makes I need £155 vouchers, I already have £77 so I am half way there, I need another £78. If I get this Ipsos one they are messing about with and then the DY one I am due that will bring it down to £47, and I have two outstanding on T and one more outstanding on Ips which adds up to £40 so looks like I will get there ok fingers crossed. If I can get some more I will get my Dad a dvd or two as well.

Fair play Rufus your on the ball and on target by the looks so well done you!

BIG DAY today! Connor is starting school for the first time! EEK! I have just been ironing name tags on his uniforms as I thought I had ordered them off ebay but just checked and I had only put them on watch for some reason! Luckily I had the ones you write on and iron in in a draw somewhere. My Mum gave them me as she found them at hers and I have just looked and they are fromWoolworths so they must be from when I needed tags for school!!! Anyway he starts at 1pm and I think I may be a bit of a crying mess at the school gates! OH is going to be so embarassed when I start blubbing! Time really does fly! Will post a pic of him in his uniform later! Oooh I am getting all emotional just thinking about it!!!

Oh Legend - I remember those days so well. I was a blubbering mess too. ;) After worrying all summer that the work was going to be too hard now DD's in Year 4, she skipped into school yesterday saying I'm so excited. What a turnaround.

Rufus - woohoo - well done. I need to contact T again about my two missing vouchers - they contacted me on Friday two months after me telling telling them they hadn't arrived, to say they might still be on their way - these are the ones I ordered March. :(

Hiya Samba - How are you doing hun?

Tightwad - sorry you missed the offer - it WAS buy one get one half price on everything plus the £5 off, it's now bogof but only on sale.
    stuff. :(

Caz - don't just stick to the ones that pay cash, because the other ones soon mount up too. Then if you do get vouchers perhaps someone might give you cash in exchange. I hope things start to look up for you soon hun. It must be horrible just waiting to see what's going to happen. Have you thought about reviewing? You can earn £50 a month, on DoU alone, if you put the effort in, it is time consuming though, but so are surveys when you get one for half an hour that only pays £1 plus you can't get screened out and can do them when you like, not before the deadline of the survey.

  • Good morning! Argh no surveys this morning either! going to sign up to some more at some point today although not sure how much time I'll have. I looked in the mirror yesterday and decided I look like a moose, so my plan for the day is to make some more flattering maternity clothes! I hope it works, I'd be ashamed to leave the house looking like this at the moment, I've only put on 4 pounds but I look like I've put on about 2 stone! Got up early to wait for a package and then remember its getting delivered tomorrow not today - doh.

Legend - it was my nephews first day at school yesterday, he was so tired at the end, the only thing he said about the whole day was that there was a horse in school and it was on his head...no idea what that means lol but he was happy anyway!

Pablos - Moose - that made me laugh. I look like that everyday. ;) I hope you manage to make something nice. Clever you.

I had none in my inbox either - and no motivation to search for any. I've done the housework and I'm just having a cuppa, and a breather before I start the ironing - oh the excitement. :o

  • Afternoon everyone.

I've not even switched the computer on till just now as I needed to go shopping this morning and get some bits for DH for his birthday. I got him a bottle of rum, a choc orange and some pyjamas. Not terribly exciting, but I am sure he will be happy.

I am not sure if it is clever or not, but I noticed Mr T had school T shirts in at 3 for £3. I needed some for both of them now so I got a pack each in current size, then 2 each (6tshirts each) in next size, putting them away in the wardrobe for next year. When I wanted Ds1 some ready for summer term I couldn't find any cheaper ones and ended up paying £2 per tshirt in the local uniform shop, and I know they will get used, but I did feel a bit silly buying them potentially a year early. Never mind. I have them now.

Got back and I haven't missed a lot. I won the 1st review prize draw on DY for the 3rd month running, so an extra £2.50 for that, which means I had enough points validated to put in a claim for my 6th ever £50 cheque from them, and my balance is already at £5 for the next one. I can't see me getting there again by the end of the month, but I can see me getting another 2 or 3 cheques off them between now and Christmas if I can keep it up.

Feel really tired and headachey again today. Probably lack of sleep and caffeine withdrawal again. Best get these presents wrapped and then take it easy-ish, as tomorrow is likely to get silly too with packing for the weekend and DH birthday celebrations.

You're not silly at all Michelle. Those lovely white tops soon get covered in paint stains, and start to go grey when you wash them. I bet you'll be using them before the end of the year. I know I did, when I did that myself last year. ;)

Well done on winning the competition again. You really work hard, so you deserve it. I hope OH has a great day tomorrow too.

  • Thanks Elysia, I'm sure we'll have a great birthday weekend. I can't wait for Centre parcs now.

Just logged back into email and there was a 100pt YG survey. So that took me over the £50 redeem there too. Great day. I joined March 2010, so I don't think that is bad compared to what some say.

School T shirts are blue for my kidders, so it depends more on how bobbly or pulled they get rather than grey. The last lot at £2 a shirt were awful and clicked first time they were worn. I don't mind paying £2 if it is up for the job, but when they are not you think what is the point when I can get it for half price. I've hid it all away in the wardrobe as DH will definitely think it is daft, but he's not the one who has to find it all, usually with kids in tow, so i just did it.

Hope everyone else is having a good day. Bit miserable still here.
