Woo hoo - well done on yet another redeem - what a fab month so far. DD's are white so I just presumed, sorry. The other schools around here have to have yellow or red. I quite like the red, but yellow and bottle green is a bit yuk. LOL.
I hope your headache is easing now.
LOL Legend - I was about to amend my post saying I wondered how you got on, and you'd posted.

Afternoon everyone
YD came down this morning when she got up and said her new teacher at college had emailed her with a list as long as your arm of things she needs to have for her course. It was all stationery bits and pieces and luckily we had bought most of it but there were still some bits she needed. She also had the ISBN for a text book she needs and the teacher said in the email to order it by the ISBN number to make sure you get the right edition. Plus she needs to wear a black top and grey cardigan until her uniform comes through, neither of which she has, and also black shoes and trousers! She starts proper on Monday. I was in a right panic lol. I had a look round her room and we found her school trousers from last year which are black and still in good condition so these will do until I can get a second pair. So off I went up town with a list lol.
First shop I went it was WH Smith, asked the lady to look up how much the book is, she nearly fell through the floor, said its £185!! I nearly fainted, but then she said it was a whole media pack including dvds etc, said they had just the book but it was a different ISBN number. Came home and emailed woman from college and she apologised, it is just the book and she didnt realise it was a different number. I have ordered it off of Amazon and it was £20 so thats gone out of my stash lol but to make it up a bit I have been able to redeem £5 Amazon on MS this afternoon so I am only losing £15. I think I can make that up again by Christmas.
After WH Smiths I went in the shoe shop and they had some black plimsols, the kind with the laces that the teenagers are wearing, only £4.99 so that wasnt too sad. Then went in New Look, couldnt find any t shirts as they have got rid of all the summer stock and the sale stuff, but in the end found a black longsleeve jobby for £5.99 and then luckily my mate spotted a grey cardigan that was reduced to £7 and when I went to the till I found an old New Look gift card in my purse that I had forgotten about and it had £5 on it so that brought the total down.
Then went in Wilkinson and they had the ring folders in there, she needs one green and one black and they had just the thing, were two for £1, plus the paper to go in them was 2 for £1 as well, and two packs of those dividers were 50p each so I was quite happy, felt like I came home with loads of shopping. She will be pleased when she gets in.
I still need to get her some coloured pencils, and some felt tip pens in different thicknesses. They have some in Wilkinsons, dont know if they are any good, I can see me having to buy these quite regularly. Only other thing she needs which we havent got I think is a stapler and some glue.
Anyway, I will have to get back into the money making and get some reviews done tomorrow, I need to do a bit of rating tonight as my levels have gone so that I have more rates than what I have given out so need to catch up. Oh is off to work though so I will have the laptop to myself0 -
Was just wondering whether any of you know of any companies that give out those memory sticks free? I know there used to be some a while ago now. She needs to get one but cheapest I have seen about £5 and what with everything else she needs I am running out of money fast lol.0

Hello all, I just wanted to tell elysia2003 that I have just written my first review on DooYoo and to thank her for her help. And everyone else of course, I hope you are all well. When your kids get older it's a huge wrench to let them go to Uni in another town, now that did make me cry
So today I did a survey and earned 50p, it took ages! Bah humbug lolKEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -
I never got round to it yesterday! Oopsies. I'm doing some now though

My gosh where have you all gone! I can see those thingys blowing along the floor this place has been so quiet! Now what are they called?
All went well with school, nothing phases Connor! Teacher said he likes to be outside and he is a bust boy which I think may be code for he wouldnt come in and doesnt stop! We know this as keys to front and back doors have to be put up high otherwise he escapes and hes either sitter in the drive pretending to drive my car or in the garden playing on his tractor! She did also say that he has impeccable manners which I am very happey with! £2.50 a day target is on course as have sold a few bits on facebook and had a couple of surveys also waiting on a payout from Viva and a voucher from S&S so not bad for the first week!
Hope everyone is ok as you are all being awfully quiet, unless you have all joined a secret club and are hiding away! lol:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Morning guys.
Headache yesterday turned into a full blown migraine, so I ended up struggling through till DH got home, but then going straight to bed before the kids at 7pm, and then sleeping till about 11 when I woke and got a drink, then sleeping through till this morning. I woke up still feeling really groggy, so I am wearing my glasses today for a bit of help as they are only to correct my lazy eye and not a strong prescription. That seems to be helping so far and i feel better compared to when I first woke up.
I'm just going to do what I can and not push it too much this morning. I don't want to feel ill for CP tomorrow, so I will just do what I can and not push it.0 -
Hi Legend, Iwas waiting for someone else to come on too, it seemed well creepy with no one about lol. For the first time in weeks I was on my own last night and no one came on at all lol.
I am still rating on DY, will try to get a review done some time today if I can as I am going away for the weekend tomorrow morning. I am only going to Dad's to try to finish off his wallpaper but OH said to be ready at 7 in the morning when he gets in from work so he can take me before he goes to bed, eek!
I did had one SN survey this morning so that is nearing payout level, I think I will be up to about £18 when this one goes on. I also managed two on Viva but still need about 80p on there.0 -
Good morning! Just done a LOAD on T this morning! about half way with that one now woo! did £1 on viva last night, better than nothing though. Ive just put a casserole in the slow cooker so I'm waiting for the gorgeous smells to start wafting through mmm. Need to catch up on some competitions and tidy the house mainly today - I dont know what happened, its like a hurricane has been through and we dont even have any kids yet, god knows what it will end up like next year lolol I blame Oh, he gets home from work and just seems to leave a trail of mess behind him sigh.May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000
