Also forgot to add (dur!!) that I am registered for self-employed, I did it when I opened my shop on Folksy so might add on the bits I get from the surveys etc just to be on the safe side. I wouldnt want to get caught out.

Thanks Juliejim, they should get over it ok, being young, they will probably have to give evidence when he goes to court though so that might be a but more on an endurance for them.

Rufus - What a shock that must have been when the police rang! I'm glad they're all ok. What a nightmare for you all. Sending big hugs to you too ((( )))

  • That is awful Rufus. Glad that physically they are ok. It's the mental torment that takes a bit longer. She's probably still a bit shocked.

I forgot to say as well, if anyone is looking at changing gas and electric, we are with ovo. They are not hugely well known, but are quite cheap. We were paying £80 with scottish power before we swapped about 18 months ago. My DD is now only £50. We've had a new boiler too, but we are in virtually all the time, so I guess that is as good as it will get. If they come up on the price comparison, then I recommend them.

I also am registered as self employed. I did it when I did some mystery shopping. I'm going to leave it like that, as I want to eventually start selling some of my knitting, and I also might do some exam marking as i am on the list but they never have any work for me anymore.

Didn't take me long to do my tax return with the little amounts I earn.

  • Actually I bet I end up doing 2 of those shoe boxes this year. I got out of it so much lighter when doing them at school as I would only end up putting in a few bits. I put loads in the one we did last year. I'll start looking out now for some stuff. Poundland was my saviour last year for cheap stationary and sweeties.

Legendmum & Michelle can I ask what the shoeboxes are for that you're putting together?
