    Morning all

I have done another review so managed to reach my target of 25/25 but still not enough to redeem. I am going to try to get some rating done this morning before OH gets up and wants the laptop. My other computer wont come on at all now, he tried to have a look at it yesterday bit it wont switch on for any more than 3 seconds then it switches off. We think it might be the psu but havent got the foggiest idea of what to look for to buy a new one. The one in ours hasnt got much written on it to tell us, its mostly in chinese. I told him to take it with him when he goes to China in October and get someone to translate it lol.

I am up to 18855 points on DY so not a lot to go on it for a redeem. I will push today when I have a chance and see if I can top the 20000 mark.

Rufus so thrilled you made it to your target. I have been going through some of my older reviews that are more than 6 months old and editing, as any older than 6 months, if anyone rates them then you don't get paid. Might be worth doing for you. ;)

Claire You have had such a busy month yourself with being away and the kids getting you up early, that I feel you too have done great. It won't take long to get £4, and now we all know about chow and the PF, we should all find it much easier now to get better results from there. Let's stay positive here. We still have 4 months till the big day, and we can do it. :D

As for the rest of you, good morning, and I can't wait to see a few more totals coming in.

I seem to remember that I set myself some goals. Spend less than £100 at the supermarket apart from the hols. I managed £72.75.

I also said I would push Tolly, GTM, maximiles and SNW. I had payouts on GTM and maximiles but haven't received them yet. I am at about £18 on SNW, and have tried loads of surveys, but got screened out. Tolly is a big fail. My balance went up about 5000 points. It is not my favourite site, and I will keep trying, but honestly I don't think it will ever motivate me.

Just popping on quickly with some good news. Do you remember that at new year my cousin was stabbed in the neck when he tried to stop a man beating his partner? Well the court case was last and this week and yesterday the guy was sentenced to 8 years!!!!!! We are so happy and relieved that although he tried to play the victim and carried a bible into the court and cried continuously they saw through his charade. My cousin says he can finally put it behind him and get on with life. The awful scar will fade, the memories I guess never will but it is over.
  • Well done on your totals claire, it all helps towards the big day :)

Well done on your reviews rufus, sounds like you have been working hard. Hope your laptop isn't too expensive to fix, hubbies netbook does that and it was a processor failure, sadly not worth replacing parts.

Well done on pushing on the surveys michelle, I find it hard with loony too especially as points aren't added often like they used to be. It used to be easy getting a redeem each month.

Great news stepmum, I hope your cousin is recovering well from the incident.

Just redeemed on loony, more points were added this morning to take me over 80k. Have a busy day ahead so I will pop online later with my totals, was a very good month this month and I made over my ebay target too.

  • wow I am so impressed with all your totals!! I've only just started so obviously nowhere near you, but hoping maybe next year I can do a bit more.

I have a question - are the review sites as scary as they sound lolol. Its just that I would do them, but I am terrified of not being good enough!

  • I joined DY in March 2010, and did not write a single review till the July as I was a bit scared of it if I am honest. Once I started though, I got more and more addicted. The hard bit is writing well enough to get the crowns and prizes, but that comes with practice I think. I love it personally, so I always say try it, and you might just do a lot better than you think.

I think I must be a special sort of nutcase/evangelist with it though. I prefer it to all the surveys and stuff myself.

Wow everyone has done great on their totals, just shows what you can achieve :) I've only been doing the surveys just under 2 weeks and I'm pleased to already have £11.95 on viva.

Pablosmummy I'm the same as you I find the reviewing quite scary lol
