  • I know it is a couple of days early, but I have just been working out my earnings from this month.

    Extra earnings from August: DY - £50, Ciao - £72.47, SB - £5, PC - £3, viva £19.60, BP = £5 = £155.07

I have also just added up money requested today at 90.02, which will arrive now next month. I will also be able to redeem on DY again for £50 by the end of this week as I am at £43, and I claimed a GTM cheque for about £33ish which may come too. The hols hasn't disrupted me as much as I thought, though this is one of my lower totals to be honest. I need to find the post I did with my other months challenges and see how I did.

I didn't know that Rufus, we are too. Well, my DH doesn't like football much, but my Dad, brother and I are all massive Arsenal fans. The less said about yesterday's match the better :(
We are all massive fans too Nicky, I even have the crest tattooed on my arm lol, I had it done for my 50th birthday present as I had always wanted a tattoo. I have a cannon tatooed on my calf too lol. I think things might look up if we sign some new players by tomorrow night.

I am just going to have a look on DY and see if I can find something to review. OH is coming home early today as he has to have his jabs for his trip in October so I only have the morning to get anything done on here.

Nicky - did you get to Drayton Manor? A bit chilly here today but at least it stayed dry for you, if you did. :)

    :D

Yes, we did go :) We had a little bit of rain around lunch time, but we were on our way back to the car to have our picnic (sitting in the car!) anyway. My son LOVED Thomas land! We went on the train 4 times and I got some gorgeous photos of him. He was so well behaved he made me proud, especially when I promised to take him back to the Thomas shop to buy him a present at the end of the day. When we got there they had just shut and he didn't even moan, so we're taking him to Toysrus today for a little treat.

I need to buy some more work maternity clothes before I go back on Thursday - the holidays have gone SO quickly! Near Toysrus there's a factory outlet place with a Next. They have a cheap maternity section so I'm going to have a look if there's anything in there. Hopefully I'll find some trousers as I only have two pairs of maternity trousers that are smart enough to wear to work. I'm fine for tops as I bought quite a few on Ebay using money I made from selling on there :)

Hope everyone has a nice day!

Rufus - fingers crossed for new signings, I was reading the transfer news on Sky this morning and it's linking us with lots of people but there's no actual bids or signings. It's being left a bit too close to the deadline for my liking!

  • Hope it all goes as well as it can Elysia. I hate going to funerals.

Been doing review stuff most of the morning. I've written another book one for 10p :o and had a crown for one I wrote the other day. I'm now at 42/45, and £45 balance. Can I do it before the end of the week? We'll see. I can't imagine doing it before tomorrow anyway but I have tried really hard.

Going to have a break from the computer now and do some school uniform sorting instead. I need to sew on name labels.

Skier, was it easy to list some books on amazon? I have loads of new books laying around but to be honest as I have an e-reader I don't really read paperback. Thinking I could get rid of them that way but it sounds very complicated?

Sending our best wishes to you Elysia.

amazon is so easy to list on. You just put in the ISbn and it loads up a picture of your book. Then you say the condition of it, and the price you want, and it will leave it there till it sells or you take it off.

Having quite a good day. £3 on NVL - so only 7.50 to go there to payout. I'm only about £2 off on YG too if they would send me some surveys, I could be laughing next month with all that are due to pay out soon.
