Thanks Elysia, I'll have a look at the review site but not sure how good I'd be at writing them.

well we got our dog yesterday but...and this could only happen to us...it is not the dog we expected. the boys held the dog in the car then when we got home we realised that she was actually a he:eek: the breeder has lost track of how many females he had and now has no more left. so bella is now max! he is so cute and is now fast asleep.

Bunbun I would be asking for a small refund as breeders usually add an aditional £50/£100 for females for their breeding capabilities...

Out of interest, what breed is Max?

    he is a springer spaniel.
I don't think there was a price difference for male and female.
we are taking him to the vet this afternoon and OH said if all is OK all that matters is we have a healthy dog. we didn't pay alot compared with some prices so will put it down to experience
my main reason for wanting a female is that males seem to be more biosterous and I will have to do most of the walking. we shall see...

  • Welcome to the forum nicnax, sign up with viva that's one that has been very popular with us, most of us get a £10 (£9.80 when paid) a month from there, I am up to £50 this month with them for hardly any effort or time. I personally don't do reviews as it's a lot of time an effort for the money, I just don't have the time with uni work and spending quality time with my husband and dd but I still usually pull in around £200 a month. Have a look around and see what fits in well for you. Every penny helps and thanks to the encouragement of the lovely ladies (and gent) of this board we will be having an amazing Christmas and holiday this year :)

Well done on your crown Elysia, well earnt. The Boots catalogue is printed already but not sure when it hits stores. I know because I was looking at something on the website that said there was a misprint on the item in the catalogue on page xx for the item and the correct price now shows online, thought I had missed it. You know Christmas is looming when you see the catalogue flying out of the stores :)

Hello Max! Think you had a lucky escape with getting a male dog bunbun, we had a female jack russell, lovely as she was as soon as she came into season it was awful, bleeding everywhere, growling, protective, not wanting to be touched and would lash out. One day when I came in from work she actualy jumped at me teeth snarling and all! Female dogs get serious PMT lol. I think male dogs are fine, especially springer spaniels, my nan had two male ones who were so well tempered.

Haven't got much motivation today, accepted onto an ips panel for a week for £4, think I'm just being grumpy as my bs order still hasn't shipped lol. Handed my assignment in yesterday, wasn't up to my normal standard given recent events but just glad it's out of the way and done. Might go and get some fresh air and see if I feel any more motivated later.

Have a good one all x

Hi Savvybunny, I joined viva a few days ago and already have £4.70 on there :) I've had a look at the review site and I'm the same as you personally I don't think I'd have the time for them.

Dooyoo announced a new comp this morning - It should be easy to do, as Shredders are now level one, and how much can you say about a shredder? I wish it was level two - I just wrote a 400 word review about a spoon. :p :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    SHORT AND SWEET

Want to be in with a chance of picking up an additional 1,500 dooyooMiles for a Level 1 review? Then read on...

To inject a bit of fun into midweek proceedings, we’d like to introduce you to our Short & Sweet Competition. It’s often difficult to squeeze in everything that you want to say into a small amount of space, so here’s a challenge for all you dooyooers: Simply write a new review in any Level 1 category between 300 and 500 words long, making sure to be as specific as you can about the product in question, while including plenty of personal opinion.

We’ll then pick out the best three to receive bonuses of 1,500, 1,000 and 500 dMs respectively! Please be sure to let us know via dooyooMail that you wish to have your review considered for the contest. The deadline for submissions is Thursday at midnight and we shall announce the winners on Friday. Good luck everyone!

Hi all I have spent all day since I got up trying to track down a HP Touchpad" Gutted as ordered 1 from staples and now had email cancelling due to exhaustion of stock! I am exhausted ringing and tapping away at the keyboard since 7am!!! So you may not see me for rest of the day as still on a mission!

  • I was going to go out and collect the disney princess dresses I ordered from Tesco, can't find the confirmation email or the email from yesterday saying my order is ready to collect, and to top it off there is nothing showing in my account history. I'm not imagining it as I have been charged but cant collect without the email. Today cleary was never meant to be

Briliant thanks hun, the email said (and I may be misquoting as I am thick enough to have lost the email anyway) that you must take the confirmation in with you.

Goodness knows what has happened here, I'm starting to think perhaps I used a different email from normal and mispelled it but then it doesn't explain why i had the mysterious email that is now missing from yesterday. You know, maybe the stress has done it, maybe I have lost the plot finally lol
