definately agree with things being made to last back then! I wish I had a lovely neighbour like yours hehe I may hold off buying it for a little while and keep my eye out at the car boots... now I know what I am looking for! I saw a lady sellings lots of kilner jars today at a car boot but have decided to go with jam jars rather than kilner jars. Going to buy these to present them... http://www.islepac.co.uk/gift-packaging/3-window-jute-bag.html or thats the plan at the minute anyway haha the pan on the website is £35 on special offer so not extortinate, and hopefully I will get lots of use out of it (or so I hope!)0

Hey, hope everyone is ok! Sorry I haven't been around, me and DD have awful colds at the moment.
I've been focusing mainly on DY at the moment. I'm on 13/28! Missed 2 days, but have done 2 day to catch up a little bit.
I'd be happy to help some people on T, I've not really familiarised myself with opinions on T yet but I'm sure I could write a few words for everyone that needs them! Are peoples usernames the same as on here? I'm zoekacie over there.
Just done S&S thanks for the reminder, I'm crap at remembering! Just checked how much I'm upto on there and it's enough for a £20 voucher! Going to save it up until I have enough for DD's first bed, I've not picked one yet and she isn't ready yet so plenty of time to save up a little more Making money for christmas 2012:santa2:0 Making money for christmas 2012:santa2:0

Giggles - Nickybo is the fudge queen. She has one recipe made with condensed milk, but it's too sweet for me, you can add cherries, choc chips, rum soaked raisins etc to make it the flavour you want. The other recipe I really want to try is Baileys Fugde. I bookmarked that one. I'll just get it.

Last year I made a lovely chocolate (a bit like after 8's) Crush a packet of extra strong mints until almost a powder with a few chunks. Add to a melted bar of dark chocolate. Stir through, and spread on a cooking tray. Put in fridge until solid, and break into small chunks. It's lovely and so much cheaper than after eights. A little goes a long way.I :heartpuls M.S.E. I heard my name mentioned Don't worry, your blackberries are safe, I have loads in my garden waiting to be picked, as well as 3 tubs full in the freezer. I saw a recipe on one of the food gifts threads for a blackberry gin. It looks delicious so I'm going to try that soon. Only problem is I can't sample it to see if it's okay so DH will get the honour. Fudge - I definitely recommend the Baileys recipe, it's the most amazing fudge I've ever tasted. I was thinking I might try substituting the Baileys for other alcohol, I saw a Tia Maria fudge at the country fair today. I also made some last week using the condensed milk recipe. It turned out fine but it is REALLY sweet. I can only have a tiny bit at a time. I prefer the Baileys recipe as it's not as sickly so I think I'm going to stick with that and just adapt it for variety.Making money for Christmas 2012!0

            Morning everyone
Just a note to people who do Chow - the P Fund has been paid - mine jumped from £14.91 - £27.03.
The first month I got £12 for 8 E's, The second £5 for 20 during that month (28 in total) and £12 this month for 72 (100 in total) so kind of hard to judge how much you'll get with that one. Still it's more money for Christmas pressies
 I hope everyone has a great day.I :heartpuls M.S.E. Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! 0 0
