hello everyone! hope you are all OK. still on holiday so reading not posting. have done a few surveys but redeemed £35 of amazon vouchers when I got back from London. Those have now gone towards 3ds for boys for Christmas. ds1 really wants one ds2 isn't sure but I am sure if ds1 has one ds2 will want one too so ordered 2:eek: still that is Christmas sorted. I didn't get quite as good a bargain as elysia and nicky as I saw the offer and didn't think about getting one till the next day and the price had gone up but OH said it was till a good price. not sure why I didn't order at cheaper price.
we had a good time at the Dr Who experience but decided against going into London because of the riots. I did hear they were closing the tubes early so a good job we didn't go. elysia I hope all was OK with you as brum was badly affected and anyone else who was near riot areas.
we are off camping tomorrow - we are going near Bath. hope the weather will be good. the boys want to go to Longleat and even though they get in free with blue peter badges it costs alot for just me and OH:eek:
hope everyone is having a good summer!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

            Morning everyone
I did a bit of the decorating yesterday, have nearly finished downstairs for him. I didnt get much time at it as OH didnt get up in the morning so made it late going out and we had to be back by 4 to pick YD up from the station. Just got there in time and got a text saying they had missed the train and wouldnt be back until gone five so we went home and I walked back up later to meet her as he didnt want to take the car back out again.
I did a couple of reviews this morning, one I finished on T then it came up and said it was already filled so they were not going to pay. Havent had one like that for a while.
I might get a review done later on, I have a bit of a headache though so might leave it until tomorrow if it hasnt gone. I need to go up the town first anyway. I did a review yesterday for hair streaking kit which I used before and its made me want to get it done again.
OH on nights tonight and tomorrow but YD will probs be in as her BF has gone on holiday now.
Hope all the jam making and fudge making goes well xx0

Good to hear you're safe and well. You got out just in time, though I hear SC was not affected.
Brilliant news that you got your pressies sorted - that's one less thing to worry about. Have a good time at longleat - DD1 has always wanted to go there. Once we went to go - but OH got confused and we ended up a Woburn Abbey. Have a good time at longleat - DD1 has always wanted to go there. Rufus - I read that review - it was good. I want mine done now, but I'd have to have it done at a salon, I have long hair now, and those kits aren't the easiest things unless your hair is shorter. Good news that you've nearly finished the decorating.
ETA: Woohoo - my Dooyoo cheque just arrived. I need to go to the bank today I'm at 17/25 so I need to get writing - we only have two weeks to go. Gosh it's quiet today - not one survey for me so far.
I had a big list of things I was going to reveiw, and my mum popped in halfway through the first one, and interupted my flow. (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)
Bored now - I'd best go down the bank, and come back and see what else is happening. Have a good afternoon everyone - I'd best go down the bank, and come back and see what else is happening. I have been to Longleat twice, its amazing! And I would recommend it to all. I got the tickets this year with tesco clubcard vouchers so we free for us and now it has changed and you can get a ticket for just one day and go on everything as many times as you want. Last year you could only go on everything once but over however long it took you. However being a 5 hour drive away means we have one day and thats it haha the silverback with his flatscreen tv and sky has to be my fav haha0

I've been to wookey hole - there are caves so if you've been to cheddar gorge it's more or less the same. It's good to fill an afternoon, but not a whole day.
I'd rather go to longleat, but wookey would be cheaper I :heartpuls M.S.E. I :heartpuls M.S.E. Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! 0 0

thanks elysia and giggles. it is good to hear from people who have been to both and I think longleat might win!! wookey hole is alot cheaper but also alot less time wise.
the boys got their blue peter badges for writing a poem and sending it in. I would recommend it as they get free entry to loads of places. the only thing is you have to have full paying adults so can't use any of the online discount vouchers. it still works out cheaper though in most casessaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Another review this time posted it on chow 12/20. On a roll today, it may have something to do with OH been away!

Bunbun my sister lives 20mins from Bath she moved there last year it is lovely there. She went to Longleat the other week and said it was worth the high prices she loved it. Hope you enjoy your camping.

Well done Claire. You'll get there. It came really quickly too. I only redeemed last week. I'm up to £13 again.
I did another review too - but it was my tumble dryer one which I had to post on Chow first as it wasn't in DooU catalogue. I'd forgotten about it, and someone reviewed it before me. How very dare they!!! I :heartpuls M.S.E. I :heartpuls M.S.E. Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
