I should do my maximiles surveys but never do - I've probably deleted it now, but I'll check just in case. ;)

This thing you're talking about sounds very intriguing. I hope it all works out for you Savvy. :)

I'm glad you feel motivated again - just what you needed. :D

    Any news on the laptop?

My 3DS arrived today. It's going to be so hard not to give it to DD before Christmas or her birthday. :)

ETA: check your T accounts if you ordered AM vouchers - I just received my T paper vouchers, and the am ones are usually processed first. You might have some waiting. :)

My Am vouchers still not ready on T. I have done another review though, now up to 17/28
  • I will have a look and see if I have a link to sign up to that panel and let you know, the more of us on it the better I say :)

What I am working on is going to either be a hit or miss, so I'm going to see what happens, I don't want to waste anyones time if it flops. Keeping fingers crossed.

Good news on the laptop, I emailed them to explain it was urgent that it wasn't delayed and I had a call the next morning to say they are doing everything they can to get it here quickly, they are keeping a close eye on it and liasing with the delivery company but hopefully only a few more days, would have been sooner if it wasn't for the bank holiday but I am very pleased that they are doing all they can.

Oooh a shiny new DS! What are the 3D ones like? They look really good but I'm not sure about the 3D part, can it be turned off? Sounds like you got a great bargain there and realy quick delivery too.

Had my love2shop vouchers through from loony too, now have a healthy amount of vouchers to get the holiday clothes with :D

The 3d function isn't to be used by anyone under 6, but yes it can be turned off. :)

Thanks Savvy - I've got two special panel thingys running this weekend, so that's an extra £10 off each. :D

  • thanks everyone. I rang NHS direct on tuesday eve who said I ring out of hours, so I did. They said it wasnt urgent but to go in wednesday morning to see the doctor which I did. He said to try ibrupohen and paracetamol first and if that didnt work to call up and ask reception to give him a message and he would pescribe me anti-inflammatry drugs. Did that on friday and as usual the receptionist was as helpful as ever (NOT!) and just said hes not in till Monday call back then. I asked if another doctor could pescribe them as I wanted to pick them up monday before work to which seemed like far too much effort for her so I just give up in the end! WIll have to call up monday morning and hopefully pick them up wednesday. It was my friend that was driving and the insurance company went to check her car on wednesday so she mentioned putting in a claim and they said a solicitor would contact her within 7 days. So yeah, think I will be putting in a claim. Sitting at a desk all day means it can get quite painful.

Well I seem to have alot of money making energy today! Got all my cds out and am uploading them onto iTunes then checking how much i can trade them in for on music magpie. Hopefully wil get a few pounds and clear some space too!

Hiiiiiiiii,,i know i am rubbish at joining in,,really i am sorry! Nice 2 weeks off work for me so time for a catch up! I really need it, on long time steroids at the mo,,its not helping me yet but i have a couple weeks not meeting my self coming backwards to get recovered!
I thought of u all today as I received my first tolooney vouchers for £15 yey!!!! I requested them ages ago so i guess they take their time! I also got a 310 next voucher for signing up to lovefilm ages ago. Have put them in my household folder (dont ask i have ocds!)for christmas gifts or to buy pressies
Done ok on fleabay but its changed so much,,i started selling 10yrs ago on there and ebay dont make it easy for us little sellers anymore, also the questions people ask are sometimes hilarious!
Have used most of paypal funds to buy things i want for new kitchen and some stuff for kids, come oct i will start listing my winter and xmas items and use that for crimbo pressies, love the fact u can use paypal funds more nad more places like boots, republic etc etc
Am aiming to do some surveys this week, want one more redeem for £15 at least ;-)
I bought dd an xbox i love 80's lips microphone and game for £9.99 from 'game' online, when i logged in i had £10.14 to spend with points collected i was so pleased so i got her game freeeeeeee! Check all your purses for hidden cards with points!
    happy moneysaving all!

Giggles I used to deal with claims for a large ins co,,good plan defo see a gp so your injury and pain is logged, whiplash injuries are known for pain and stiffness after the event. It would be worth ur friend contacting her insurance co OR the other parties ins direct,,if it was anothers fault and they are insured then their ins co will DEFO rather deal with u direct as it keep costs down ;-) dont be afraid to call them and findout what they need from you, good luck :-)

  • I can't realy add anything positive about insurance claims, the whole compensation culture makes me feel uneasy, the only winners are the insurance companies who sell your details to claims companies and hike up everyones insurance to cover their losses.

Done every survey site and up to date, except loony, theres so much to do and the points are just not being added. I liked the way they used to add points daily. Redeemed on mccains, there is a survey for 200 spuds if you haven't completed it yet. Did about £6 on viva, would have been able to redeem except I forgot that you can only do 3 surveys of each type so the last one didn't credit.

Hope you get some money for your cd's giggles and well done on your voucher kirsty.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

Kirsty - well done on your voucher. If you don't have time for T surveys - just log in every day and do the sponsored polls. It will take five minutes max, and you'll soon have enough to redeem, and without any hard work too. Most of the sponsored ones are less than five questions long. :)

Well done Savvy - I've never got £6 off Viva before - I thought I did well with £5 once. Well done on the McCains redeem too. For some reason I thought it was for £5, so I was surprised last week when it was £10. Every penny helps. :)

I doubt I'll be getting paid for one of my thingymajigs . I was supposed to take a photo of what I was doing on the hour every hour - I've been out shopping for hours and forgot to take my camera. :( Do you know when I post a photo on a site - can they tell what time it was taken? If they can't, I could just take a few extra ;)

I only need £1.50 to redeem on NV - so this morning I was cheeky and posted that I was looking for people to join up, on the N V L thread -and I got one. :D One more needed and I can cashout. :j

thanks for the advise kirsty. I called NHS direct, then out of hours, then saw the doctor so it should be logged with all of them. I think it was the other persons insurance that went to check out my friends car for damage who she asked about making a claim, but will check with her. They said they would start the ball rolling and she should hear from a solicitor within 7 days. Myself, nor my friend have never been in this situation before and have never made an claim on anything before so we were unsure of how you did it!

Most the CDs I was checking were worth 30p. But as I am hopign to do a car boot soon (rain over the last few days but a stop to going tomorrow) I think I will try seling them there for a £1 first (albums) and if not can send them off to trade in afterwards, Im quite a horder so I am having to be strict with myself! Its loading them all onto the itunes that is taking the time tho!

All this mention of McCains reminded me to go and do my weekly games on there. I am CERTAIN I had around 560 points but it has suddenly jumped to 1400! I have no idea how it has more than doubled as I only ever do the little games as I can't get the surveys to work. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm wondering whether to redeem quickly now or keep saving for the Amazon voucher?
