I'm feeling very inspired thanks to the challenge. I woke at 6:45 this morning (on my own, not woken by my son!) and instead of trying to go back to sleep I got up and wrote some Ebay descriptions. I managed to write 9 before DS woke up so I'm pleased with that, especially as some of the descriptions were quite long, especially the one for all the old 1st birthday decorations I have saved for nearly 3 years for some reason :rotfl: They are in great condition, all used only once obviously and cost loads originally so it could save someone a fortune. Hope they go for more than 99p but even if they don't, it's more room in my wardrobe at least!

I have been trying to find out about the tax credit situation since it all changed in April. it doesn't look good:( since they reduced the threshold by a few thousand pounds it looks like we won't get anything. Plus it looks like the payments we have received since April will have to be repaid:mad:
also OH is a teacher and if the pensions are changed he will have to pay more and his salary will go down maybe by £100-200 a month so things are not looking good at the moment:(

michelle I will look at DY later

thanks savvy for the reminder about S&S

rufus well done on your YG reddem

mum2one I think an amazon list is an excellent idea

giggles hope you have a fab day in Blackpool

    Yay - well done everyone.

I listed one thing on ebay yesterday - a pair of my Dad's walkie talkie radio thingy's - he's a electronics geek and I hadn't a clue what to put in the listing. He's had a look and said it's ok so fingers crossed they sell, as we're going halves on the profits. Started off at £40, and on BIN for £70 so should be a nice little bundle if they sell. :)

I've got some of my own stuff to list today, and I might even do a couple of reviews later. You never know.

Michelle - I haven't looked for myself yet, I'm sorry I'm being very lazy today. This migraine is still lingering - not badly but it's still there nonetheless. Do you know, when the premium fund is shared out, do you get a sum of money per E that month, or does it go on the percentage in the E ratings received column? It would be handy for us both to know - because at the moment I also have 19 E's this month, but I don't want to lower my percentage by writing a new review that doesn't get many E's so the percentage figure will drop if you see what I mean. I hope I've explained it correctly - my head is still a fuzz at the moment. If you do find out, would you mind letting me know - I'd be most greatful. :)

I was supposed to link Michelle's guide to SBucks in the challenge, but I think I forgot, so If anyone needs it, I'm just going to do it now. :)

Well done on you YG redeem Rufus - I had another survey yesterday, that's five in 8 days I think, and I'd had none before that since March. Hopefully things will get a move on now. I'm £8.50 off NV and DD2 is 95p off at YoungPolllll. Hopefully will make it this month, but if not August will be fab.

I'm starting getting a few more presents in for Christmas now - I've just ordered a solar powered water fountain, where the water pours from the jug, into another and then into a bowl at the bottom, for my StepD for Christmas. I'm so pleased, as it was a bargain, and he is so difficult to buy for. That's another job out of the way. I've planned what to get OH just need some money. I have savings but don't want to use them, they are for the DD's bigger presents :D

Bunbun - get on to TC straight away in the morning.

We had an overpayment once - it coincided with me giving up my part time job, when DD2 was one. Of course, we thought, because I'd given up work, we had less money, so they upped my payments. Nope, it was a mistake. Suddenly one day our payments stopped, just like you with no warning.

They take back the overpayment by lowering your payments you receive from now on.

My step-sister had the exact same thing happen to her, but because she had names of the people she spoke to, and times of calls, and had made notes of the conversation - her £4,000 overpayment was squashed. So make notes, and file them away in case you need them later.

They don't take the whole overpayment at once and if it's only since April time, you should be Ok don't worry. ;)

mum2one - amazon good idea, but what about vouchers for a particular shop, they can choose what they want to pay and you can say shes saving all her birthday money for one thing in particular. Easier to post too...lol

elysia - i been on SB for about a year , and i dont know what to do with it apart from search, so your guide from michelle will be useful, just have to find the challenge now...lol

nicky - if you want something to do, come and clean my house:rotfl::rotfl:

OH has said we need a cleaner, dont know whether i`m insulted or not...:o

Rufus - the YG check seems to take a good while to come. It was about a month when DH claimed his. I was looking every day for weeks.

Elysia - the premium fund - no-one seems to know exactly what is going on. I understand it as they award £2000 between their best authors, so I interpret that from what i have seen people say that they award the money between the people who have had E ratings. So the more you have, the more you get. I think that is why so many people got a bee in their bonnet about awarding E only to certain reviews as the more that people give out the less you will get.

Therefore, in a quiet month you could get £10 for one E, but in a busier month, you could get £10 for more E ratings. I think we might have a better idea when the fund is paid out again which was the 14th last month. I didn't write down how many i got in may, but i had 69 up to the end of june.

Nothing in this world is guaranteed, so i am just going for the more i get, the more i should receive.

Thanks Michelle - Last month I got 8 and received £12 ish ( over 19 reviews) The percentage bit said 2%. This month I have 19 from one review (and the percentage bit says 7.4%) - so I'm hoping that it works better that way. Saying that - I've earned about £12 off the back of that review from DoU alone, so not doing too badly, and every penny helps.

I did try and look, but like you, couldn't find anything definite in writing.

Susan - I've looked through days and days of posts to find Michelle's hints and tips for swagbucks, but can't find it. Boy, we lot can talk. :D. Basically (very basically) you do searches on there to get points. Also go into the earn bit, and click on NOSO - you just press skip on each page, until you get to the end, where they give you some words to type into the box, they give you a couple of points for that - takes 10 seconds max. You also click on the survey tab, you get one point for that per day. You also get one point for doing the daily poll.

I've also been playing the games (quite addictive) but always click the tab to play for free, if you play for long enough, they award you points for that too. You can also earn by watching the TV clips - watching 10 earns you 3 points - I do this while watching TV at night (with the sound of the comp off), really easy and you get three for that too.

At the bottom of the screen - there is also an hourly winner called, so if your on the comp, try and get in the habit of checking - you never know, it could be you next. ;)

Michelle's version is much better than mine - but at least I hope you know what to do now - there are searching jobs on there, but the SB's for doing most of them is a pittance, so I gave up doing those. There are codes on twitter, to get extra SB's. I'll post them when I get one. Tomorrow is 4th July so I'm hoping there will be loads going. :)
