Thanks for the new challenge Elysia. Good ideas to keep us all going. Am a big nervous of the ebay site since my last virus seemed to come off it but I'll try to get some bits listed.
Rufus thanks for the TL advice, found the sponsored polls although there are a lot less than there used to be. My balance jumped up by 11000 this week and I've got two vouchers pending.
Managed to get a claim in to VO but I've been getting screened out of pretty much everything they've sent me in the last couple of weeks.
Sorry to hear about your paypal issue knit, I'm really wary of this kind of stuff just now and I hope it gets sorted out for you.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Knit - if you aren't on Sb's, I think the fairest way is just to pm someone off this thread and ask them to refer you. For the other referals, you could try the referal board, or just post on your FB account. You never know who will sign up.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Our beans have flowers on, they look all pretty. The strawberries have been eaten by DD2, no one else got a look in. Lettuces have gone to seed now, and the peppers failed miserably.
How did eveyone else's veg do?
Funny you should ask! Only an hour ago I was tidying in the garden and found a strawberry plant hidden behind a bush! As it's our first summer in this house, we're still discovering what the gardens containA lot of the strawberries are still green but there were 4 big red ones that DS has now eaten. I'll keep an eye on it and try to get the rest of them when they're ready - I'll have to beat the birds!

I checked my bank account expecting my child tax credit to be in there but it wasn't:mad: I have looked at the inland revenue website and am trying to understand the changes from the last budget and see if they affect us. it is so unclear! what I don't understand is if our payments have stopped why now and not in april? and of course I can't ring till Monday:mad:
lunch was nice but I am sure they diddled us. he took the tesco vouchers away and came back with the bill for the remaining payment. it had everything we had but at reduced prices iyswim so I couldn't tell what the original would have been. oh well it was cheap!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

I'm sorry bunbun, I can't help - I've not referred anyone to SB before. I'm not too hot on the TCredit either. Have they made more changes?
ETA: bunbun - go into promote at the top of the screen and your referall link is there - get them to join by clicking on your link.

Hi everyone
Haven't been in much today, braved the shops, picked up the last copy of beauty and the beast an have tucked it away for Christmas, didn't spot the jungle book anywhere though. I was a little surprised that cinderella wasn't on the shelves since it was re-released for the royal wedding.
Picked up a £5 body shop voucher today to add to July's total. Hoping to pick up something in their sale if the have a sale instore.
Also I have been trying to decide whether to buy dd a one of these sets http://www.mumstheword.com/Brand-Oskar%20and%20Ellen
She adores play food but I can't decide which one to get her (any suggestions very welcome, I'm so indecisive!). There is a 40% off code floating around which makes these sets very affordable.
Sorry to hear about paypal knit, at least it will be sorted quickly. You have done so well not letting it get to you much, I remember years ago my card got declined so I had to phone my bank who said my card was blocked as over £1200 was taken, luckily only a few transactions went through before it was picked up on but that sinking feeling is awful to think it could actually happen to you sn't it.
Thanks for the challenges Elysia, really buckling down this month with the money making and I guess that ebay may be the way forward, i like to concentrate on something different each month otherwise it gets a bit fed up.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekendComping wishlist for 2017

savvy - we have the Dr's kit from the range on that link, and i didn't pay anywhere near the price on there, i got it from a website called halfcost for about £5.
To be honest, i don't think the Drs kit is that good. All the stuff is soft, and mainly for really young children. Mine get it out the bag, we play for a few minutes and that is the end of it. My youngest was only 2 and a half when i gave it them at christmas and it was a flop really.
When we have bought the boys play food i have gone for the plastic ELC sets. There are some nice trays of fruit that you can cut up with a pretend knife, and sets of cans.

Or if you are after something more high end and durable, the melissa and doug wooden food is really lovely. My friend has some and i keep seeing reviews for it on ciao and DY.

Thanks michelle, dd has loads of the plastic play food which she adores already, she does enjoy the ones that you cut up, not so keen on the cans. They do say from age 3+ but I guess you might be right, dd may find it too babyish think I will hold off.
Enjoy Up bunbun, it was such a sad story but it's one of our favourites.
Well done on the vegetable growing, mil grew us some corguettes last year and they were the best I have tasted. Home grown vegetables tend to taste nicer don't theyComping wishlist for 2017
