Hi Nat - well done to you for keeping things going, hope once this Glee thing is out the way your OH gets back to normal again. My OH does 12 hour shifts which often run into 13 or 14 hours although he does go from home everyday unless he is working at London office, then he sometimes will stay at his Mums to cut down on travelling.
Nicky - well done on the race for life xx
Think today will be a quiet day for moneymaking. Have two items finishing tonight but no bidders yet. No surveys this morning either. Have a lot to do this morning before the Grand Prix comes on, loads of washing to do and get it out in the garden to dry and have to cook the dinner. Then I can sit and watch the race and do a bit more of the quilt I am making. I have £2 coin in my purse so going to put that in the tin for today.
Savvy - hope you get your assignment sorted out, dont you have any tutors you can ring for advice or anything? Sounds way above my head lol.0 -
Been updating my spreadsheet again and managed £20 redeem from SN.0

Morning all
Well done for getting miss hoodies room sorted mum2one, thats great news about the relatives
Hope your ebay items sell for you later Rufus.
Well done on the race for life Nicky, I hope I look as young as you when I get into my 30's
My tutor is on holiday until the end of next week, and the advice I was given by another tutor was read the notes, which doesn't cover what I need. I am only referencing theories from the text book but the theories don't belong to the author they belong to other people so it's confusing. Either way it has to be submitted today so I just hope it don't lose marks for incorrect referencing.
Sunday's are a bit rubbish for money making aren't they, will try to scout down some surveys and maybe chuck a few things on ebay.
Don't forget to submit results for shopandscan today ladies.Comping wishlist for 2017

I've screened out of all surveys this morning, so i am not doing too well there, and my littlest DS has been really sick, and now just watching telly fairly quietly. Oldest one has pinched my computer again, and luckily DH is at work but has not taken his laptop so i am sat here in jarmies with DS2 and catching up.
Thanks for the shop and scan reminder. I sent my barcodes but still have the photos to do.
I've checked loonie this morning and i had an amazon voucher on there, which was ordered 14/04.
If the kids keep pinching my computer though, i might have to consider getting myself a little netbook for doing my stuff.0 -
Well done Rufus.
Nicky I was always mistaken as being the youngest of us three girls, but I was the eldest, and we are spread out over five years. I was alright until I hit 40 and then Argghhhhhhhh.
Nat - OMG you do have a lot on your plate at the moment, and you say we are an inspiration? The Glee concert will be over soon, and hopefully things will get more back to normal. Well done on the fostering - I really wish you luck. If you need any help and advice, I'm sure Mary on the organised thrifty thread would help. She's been doing it for years.
Mum2one - It was this Ebook. What I liked about it is, you can download books onto an SD Card, so don't have to worry about using all the memory up.
Morning ladies. No surveys for me today. I've been on SB and done a bit there. No bids on my last ebay item but there's hours to go and 6 watchers. I only expect it to go for two or three quid anyway.
OH wants to go out today with these free tickets we've got, as it's going to be a nice day. (Hurray that get's me out of cooking a Sunday Roast) See you all later - Have a good day whatever you do.
OOPs thanks for the s&s reminder Savvy
Michelle - I have my own Netbook and I love it.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I am so sorry knit I haven't thanked you for all the help and advice you gave me the other day about OH.
thanks savvy for the reminder about s&s. I have done the barcodes just need to do the receipts.
I had a phone call yesterday about another shop and scan. need to complete the questionnaire then they will send me the scanner
I was stopped the other day in town by someone doing a survey. she came running after me and said I am looking for people who don't have children, I don't know how old she thought I was:eek:
ds2 is going to a paint balling party this afternoon. Am I the only one who thinks it is wrong to organise a party then ask for an extra £10 for more paintballs? I know everyone does it but I still think it is wrong. even more so as I am not sure paint balling is ds's thing and he probably wouldn't want extra ballssaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
bunbun - i agree with you about paintballing, DS went to a party and spent £27 getting extra balls. They tell you to try the machine gun part twice which rattles off I dont know how many balls at a time , and he was only there 2 hours:eek:
elysia - thats a nice ereader, has 2gb of memory so should store about 2000 books. I currently have 10000 books to read, lol , I been collecting them
nat - your poor OH and you must be so worried as he`s upset ((hugs)) and welcome to forum
savvy - i dont envy your referencing, i did a maths degree and that was awful, but I thought was easier.
chamich - hope DS picks up soon, you feel so helpless when your kids are ill dont you
rufus - well done on the totals
mum2one - dont be over doing it will you?
nicky - omg you look older than 14, at least 16 :rotfl::rotfl:Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Oooh it's always the extras in paintballing where they seem to make their money isn't it! Hope he has a good time though, I could never do it as I bruise really easily lol
michelle - I would highly recommend a netbook I don't know what I do without mine, mine stays in the bedroom so I can do surveys and things in the evening or a spot of shopping in the early hours lol. Hubby has one too but he spilt coffee all over the keyboard and has to use an external keyboard, which is handy so you don't have to sit awkwardly to type and see the screen.
I made the mistake of opening the curtains as dd has to get up from her nap, only to be met with the sight of neighbour with top off wearing shorts. Unfortunately said neighbour is complete opposite of male goddliness so curtains shall remain closed until it is safe to open them.
Right, I'm off briefly to do lunch and get dd up, and do assignment etc. Hopefully to return happier and wealthier:rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017

It might take me a while to save up, but it definitely would improve my quality of life i think now the kids are getting bigger and wanting to use the computer too. I know they'll be at school soon, but it would also mean i could sit with DH more in the evening.0

well nothing on the surveys front for me today
Am going to try and be productive today to compensate and get lots done. Have put HSM on haha and going to attack my to do list! Hopefully going to put some stuff on ebay later. Been putting it off so going to try and motive myself to sort it today. I want to do a car boot in a few weeks and I like to try some stuff on ebay if I think it may make more on there.
