    Morning all

Well done for getting miss hoodies room sorted mum2one, thats great news about the relatives :)

Hope your ebay items sell for you later Rufus.

Well done on the race for life Nicky, I hope I look as young as you when I get into my 30's :)

My tutor is on holiday until the end of next week, and the advice I was given by another tutor was read the notes, which doesn't cover what I need. I am only referencing theories from the text book but the theories don't belong to the author they belong to other people so it's confusing. Either way it has to be submitted today so I just hope it don't lose marks for incorrect referencing.

Sunday's are a bit rubbish for money making aren't they, will try to scout down some surveys and maybe chuck a few things on ebay.

Don't forget to submit results for shopandscan today ladies.

    Hi Savvy
Sorry wish had checked the thread earlier, if your quoting work from an author that is in another book, - comes under one of two ways
Direct quote - (eg something I said - word for word), mum2one wish she had checked the thread earlier as she missed an offer that ended Sunday night)

Using my words but summarising in your words, further to the discussion that mum2one had on the thread, it appears that mum2one missed an offer that had been of interest to her.

Both of those, you would list the book, you got the info from, my mistake was to quote the book that was listed in the paragraph so the correct author got the credit, - Maslows hierararchy of life, but as I would not have read the whole book that Maslow based the hierarchy on, I wouldn't be able to list it.

On a level one, yep they do like you to reference the best you can, but level 2 + 3, ur expected to be perfect.

Sorry its a bit late for this assisgnment, but hope it help for next. xx

    Well done Rufus.

Nicky I was always mistaken as being the youngest of us three girls, but I was the eldest, and we are spread out over five years. I was alright until I hit 40 and then Argghhhhhhhh. :)

Nat - OMG you do have a lot on your plate at the moment, and you say we are an inspiration? The Glee concert will be over soon, and hopefully things will get more back to normal. Well done on the fostering - I really wish you luck. If you need any help and advice, I'm sure Mary on the organised thrifty thread would help. She's been doing it for years.

Mum2one - It was this Ebook. What I liked about it is, you can download books onto an SD Card, so don't have to worry about using all the memory up.

Morning ladies. No surveys for me today. I've been on SB and done a bit there. No bids on my last ebay item but there's hours to go and 6 watchers. I only expect it to go for two or three quid anyway.

OH wants to go out today with these free tickets we've got, as it's going to be a nice day. (Hurray that get's me out of cooking a Sunday Roast :D) See you all later - Have a good day whatever you do.

OOPs thanks for the s&s reminder Savvy

Michelle - I have my own Netbook and I love it.

Cheers, your wonderful, do like the look if it. See how the finances go;), or can con mum + dad to get it me!!

I've had 6 things sold out of 12 on ebay, just literally the asking price, got to give you a laugh, i'd got 2 bnwt swimsuits from Evans, one was £29, other £25 - listed them both for £9.99 each, within 1 day the 1st one had got a £9.99 bid (great), then I had a message off another buyer, could I do her the swimsuits for £12 with free postage!!

Made £23, then the rest is postage, which think be on nail, go off prague trip! xx

Oooh it's always the extras in paintballing where they seem to make their money isn't it! Hope he has a good time though, I could never do it as I bruise really easily lol

michelle - I would highly recommend a netbook I don't know what I do without mine, mine stays in the bedroom so I can do surveys and things in the evening or a spot of shopping in the early hours lol. Hubby has one too but he spilt coffee all over the keyboard and has to use an external keyboard, which is handy so you don't have to sit awkwardly to type and see the screen.

I made the mistake of opening the curtains as dd has to get up from her nap, only to be met with the sight of neighbour with top off wearing shorts. Unfortunately said neighbour is complete opposite of male goddliness so curtains shall remain closed until it is safe to open them.

Right, I'm off briefly to do lunch and get dd up, and do assignment etc. Hopefully to return happier and wealthier:rotfl:

I wouldn't be without my netbook, its a godsend, great for logging on and the basics, esp for when were on holiday. I got mine last yr from Dell (pd £250) that was my student grant gone. I use the main laptop, so its more a back up, but Miss Hoodie now wants one....!! xx

DD1 bought a Dell netbook for doing uni work on the train on the way in, but since she passed her driving test, she only uses her main laptop. She could sell it, but I want it as my backup, because I'm wearing this one out. ;)

Well wonders will next cease - I've been on YouGv six months, and I've had two surveys in 4 days - I'm up to £3.75 now :) I'll be cashing out at 2016 at this rate. :rotfl:

Kec wonderful to hear the news about you and oh I hope that things work out for you. Well done with keeping up with everything.

It is already really hot here, think we will be hiding indoors a fair bit as I get paranoid about the kids burning. Being by the sea you see some poor children scarlet by the time the parents take them off the beach, it is so sad. Oh burnt yesterday whilst working on the car, he is finishing it off today so that we can list it for sale. He's only tidying up anything he feels isn't perfect, to me it looks imaculate anyway and should the amount of time he has always put into it. Just hope it sells quickly.

Made £30 yesterday doing a kids party, I always class them as extra as they are so sparodic (spelling?). We earnt every penny yesterday, it was in the next town across in a not so nice area. The kids were very sweet but hard work, they had no idea how to play most games and didn't even know the hokey kokey, it was like no-one had ever played with them. Quite sad really. As for turn taking, sharing and doing as they were told!!!

Right off to check for any surveys before I start the cleaning.

    Take care all
    Jayne xx

    Morning all

I didnt sell the items last night after all but have one bid tonight for 99p and just had a YG survey for 50p so only need another £1. No other surveys on at the moment though so will have to try to get it later in the day.

Elysia - I only need 70p on YG to redeem, includes the one I had this morning, most are only 50p so means I need another 2 at least. Was hoping it would pay out this month but doesnt look like it now. Still £3 away of NV, never seem to get any from there and if I do I get screened out.

OH is off today so we need to go shopping this morning. I will have a look round for any bargains, market is on today so might be lucky. Will probs spend the afternoon in the garden if its not too hot out there.

Morning all, lovely day again isn't it :)

Thanks mum2one, I was quoting other peoples theories from the book ie maslows heirarchy but I just used secondary referencing as I hadn't read the original, only the work from the workbook, eg Maslows heirarchy (cited by Preston, 2011, pg.1) and just quoted the book at the end. It's probably wrong but the guidelines aren't very clear. As long as I'm not losing marks then I'm sure it will be fine.

Glad to hear things are getting better for you kec, I hope it all works out with you and hubby.

Well done on making the extra money doing the childrens party stepmum, such a shame the kids didn't know most of the games but I bet they had a great time.

Well done on the ebay sales mum2one and on the ygov Elysia. I best find some surveys to complete

I am already sweltering today. I'm not a fan of the heat i'm afraid. I'm as grumpy as anything as my hayfever woke me in the night, so i had to get up to take my nasal spray and then was too hot.

I've only done the school run and i feel shattered. I'm going to try and get the washing machine on as it said it might rain later, and then see what is about.

I wrote a 60p DY review last night that someone said they had nominated, and chow is up to £25, so i think i will withdraw today.
